CA-3810 Rules! SAY WHAT?
Ok, let me explain. I watched You-tube to help me decide which model would offer the best audio for my Home PC. The CA-3908 was the perfect choice so I ordered it. I received the box by Superman because it came in very quickly as usual. I opened the Amazon box and in it there was a separate shipping carton from Cyber Acoustics with a couple of other goodies that I ordered. On top of the CA carton was a shipping label and my eyes only focused on seeing those numbers Model# CA-3908! Yay! No mistakes! I was still looking at the top of the box as I wondered to myself " Wow! I thought this box looked bigger on You-Tube because it comes with a massive subwoofer!" What the heck I told myself, it does say CA-3908 on the shipping label! I pulled out the carton and as I was lifting it up to eye level it said " CA-3810 6 of 7 I think. I couldn't believe what was happening! I put it on the floor and shook my head. It took a few minutes to decide whether I was going to open the box or just return it. I decided to open it. The satellite speakers were a bit smaller than the 3908 and the subwoofer was a little smaller but taller than the 3908, but not by much, I hooked it up and it was very simple and fast and it had that cool puck that controls the volume, bass, on-off switch, headphone and aux connections. Totally cool because I wouldn't even think about buying an audio system without one. This was the same puck that the CA-3908 has, awesome. So I turned it on and guess what? This cheaper version sounds pretty darn good to my ears so I decided to keep it! The Bass is not overwhelming but it can crank it out when it needs too and the satellite speakers are more then up to the task. It does crank out some good-ole-Grand Funk-Railroad (super heavy on the bass was what that group was known for plus the double drummers!!!!!!!) Anyway the CA-3810 was released about the same time as the CA-3908. It was labeled and referred to the smaller brother to the 3908 by Cyber Acoustics. I am impressed with the sound and I am going to keep it as it meets all of the criteria that I need in an audio system. Customer Service was very understanding and just refunded the balance back into my account. No need to rebox and send it back, just relax at my PC desk and just enjoy the music and play with the volume puck! BTW: The speakers that came with my PC were.....not up to standards and it did not have a volume/ headphone or aux in! Volume was controlled by the onscreen volume control and the headphones had to be connected to a USB port on the main unit. So this awesome puck which is next to my wireless mouse (just installed that) so that I can now also play music from my I-phone! Who could ask for anything more? As a side note; AOL did a story on how Amazon works. They had a slide show of about 14 pictures showing what goes on in their massive warehouses! Some areas were like 3 to 4 floors high with workers pulling orders and in every picture just about every inch of their warehouse was filled. It really threw me off when I saw all those workers filling the orders at their work stands! Logistically outstanding and I have a new found respect for these hard-working Americans! Now I'm not saying that I'm going to go soft when a mistake is made. They are doing their best, and I am not going to be as " vocal or anal" about the small stuff but for the bigger mistakes I will keep pointing those out....in a good way of course. Buy the CA-3810. It performs great, looks awesome and it comes with the all in one puck! Besides most buyers gave the CA-3810 5 stars overall while the CA-3810 only got 4? Read the reviews and make your choice. Aloha & Mahalo!

Make the difference
So far it's worth every penny bass is crisp and clean setup was super easy with more than enough cord length. Speakers are clean and deliver solid sound with plenty of treb to complete the big bass speaker. I just wish it had Bluetooth but I knew when I bought it that it didn't so no fault there

Good value
Better value than others in the price range, discount ($69) or without discount. It sounds ok but don't expect anything out of those 2" speakers. It works when sitting front of it with lower volume, but if you step away needing to turn it up, it will sound horribly as if everything goes out of whack. The aux input is a great improvement over the older generation equipment. I had to trash 2 set of nice expansive speaker sets because of the 3.5 plug/wire damages. I think you can now get a cheap Bluetooth receiver to continue to use the speakers even if the plug or the output port on the computer is damaged.I do recommend this set, but without the discount, I would compare with a few more.

Surprisingly Good
I had previously purchased a lower quality speaker system from this same manufacturer - it was okay and it lasted a few years before it died. So, I stepped up into this version - what a difference in sound quality! I have only had this speaker system for a couple days but it is exceeding my expectations - especially at this price point. If it lasts a few years like the other version this will be a heck of a good deal.

CA-3908 excellence under $100. (Updated to detail lack of excellence)
I have been trying to decide on new computer speakers for a few weeks and I had it narrowed down between these and the Logitech z623. I live in the Midwest and the only computer store that has speakers on display is Best Buy and then you can't really trust those because customers abuse them. Neither the CA-3908 or the z623 are on display to hear. So it feels like I was really flying blind. I did happen to find a set of speakers not in the box that were being sold at Radio Shack under the brand name of Gigaware that look exactly like Cyber Acoustics CA-3602. The satellites' stands were exactly the same and the sub's only difference was the brand logo. It made me think that Gigaware bought them from CA and sold them as their own. I found an outlet in the store and plugged them in and they sounded pretty decent in the store. This helped me make my decision. I figured if those are like the 3602's and it sounded pretty good, then I couldn't go wrong with the CA-3908. I also decided on these because they were cheaper than the z623s and I'm not an audiophile, it doesn't have to be perfect as long as it's good. Another deciding factor was the Logitech reviews mentioned sound loss after a year or two and I'm hoping for something that lasts longer. Bonus, Amazon offered a $10 coupon so my purchase was $75.88. Make sure you look under special offers for the coupon!I just got the speakers today and I'm glad I picked these. The sound is really excellent! The bass is not overly heavy or muddy - it sounds great! I have a big oak roll-top desk and the subwoofer sits on top because there's just not room on the floor behind my PC and UPS. I think that makes the bass sound so much clearer. It doesn't sound muffled at all. My daughter said she could still feel the bass through the floor even with it on top of the desk. The satellites were crisp and clear and sound so much better than the Altec Lansing I previously had hooked up. I could not take these up to full volume because they were just too loud! I tried every kind of music I listen to from classical to celtic to rock and everything sounds awesome. I have yet to hear the sound of a movie or from gaming, but if music sounds this good, then I'm positive everything else will sound incredible as well. I am impressed that I could get sound this fantastic under $100.Even though the description never mentions size, the satellites were bigger and a bit heavier than I was expecting, standing about 10 inches tall, 3 wide and about 3 deep with the stand. Their cord is about 6 foot long and come together about a foot away from the speakers. You can pull them apart a little more if needed to have more distance between them. The grills are removable, but I prefer to keep them on to protect the speakers. The cord from the back of the sub to a power outlet is 5 foot and the cord from the pod to the speaker and also to the PC is about 6 foot each. The sub is about 9 in X 9 in X 9 in with a good heavy quality feel.I used my son's skull candy headphones to test out the headphone plug on the pod and it sounded fine. Of course, your not going to get the bass out of the headphones like you do out of the sub. It sounded just like when I have it plugged into the headphone jack on the front of my PC. I also plugged my phone into the auxiliary port and played music through Google play. Again, it sounds great even streaming! The product description mentions an mp3 cradle, but that wasn't in my box, nor was the auxiliary cord mentioned in some reviews. I'll update in a while once I use them for a while.Update: About 14 months after purchase, I'm looking for new speakers. The static is unbearable. I recently moved and since I did, there's no end to the static. It did have a tiny bit of static before the move and after the first review, but it was not terrible. This is all the time and LOUD. As much as I loved the sound quality, I hate the static more. Run away from this product!
