UPDATE: After about a year and a half of use, this cutter is now sitting unused in a drawer. Two of the screws have come out and disappeared and the blades are as sharp as butter knives. I have cheap, plastic cigar cutters that have retained their effectiveness for far longer than this product. I have lower my rating to two stars. This is a traditional double guillotine cutter. It's well made, sharp and the mahogany handles give it a classy look. However, it's important to note that this is not a perfect cutter, it's made by the same company so some may get confused. Having said that, this is a high quality cutter at a great price. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cigar cutter.
