Being almost 100 yrs old, the crystal had many fine scratches which created a hazy appearance. I used a very small amount of HUT Ultra Gloss Plastic Polish and buffed it with a soft cotton cloth. After relatively little effort, the the fine scratches were gone and the crystal became glossy. This was a bit expensive, but worth it for me to restore a vital piece of this project. Review: Kinda works - Use it with resin work that needs ultra clarity. It gets the job done but I tried using it on my plastic mold to see if I could make the plastic more shiny so the pieces come out shinier it only made it worse and now all the pieces I use in those holes come out matte... Which can be fixed by polishing it with this polish. I use silk as my cloth it's not my cloth doing it. The HUT is a plastic polish, so it will work well on plastic, wood, by itself is too porous to give you the shine the product offers for plastic. I would coat the wood with several layers of CA glue (I normally apply 10 to 12 layers of thin CA or 3 or 4 of Thin followed by 3 or 4 of Medium CA glue) then micro mesh it and as the final step use the HUT Ultra Gloss.
