Yes lids are tight fitting no worry about spilling.

Any issues with storing interior and exterior house paint in them for touch-ups?

Can you clean these in the dishwasher?

They are NOT dishwasher safe in that if you have heated drying or a sanitize option, they may melt / deform. If you have a low-heated dry or have a "no heated dry" option, then you can certainly wash them in the dishwasher.
