The medela swing flex is great, easy to use, say to clean, has great suction and can be used cordless with x4 AA batteries. It comes with everything you need to get started. It is compact so it is easy to have with you on the go. The only thing is I found the breast shields didn’t last long before needing replacement. However these are easy and reasonably priced to replace. It comes apart into four pieces to clean, but it has to be fully dried of to get the right suction again. It has adjustable settings so you control the suction making it great for all. This is great product and great value especially as I was using it x8 in a day in the beginning.

Much better than cheaper pumps. After giving birth to my firstborn I been told to only get cheap pump at the start. I purchased one tempted by good reviews. What a mistake! Using cheap one sooo put me off pumping! Medala comes with 2 sizes of breast shields where other one only came with one which was way too big for me. As a total noob I was not aware of it and keep hurting myself and only getting minimal amount of milk. Also this one have fewer pieces making it easier to clean. There are only 4 parts to wash. Also with this pump Im able to express much more but most important it does not hurt while using it! Yes you need power source or batteries but definitely a win for me in comparison with cheap ones which might have build in rechargeable battery. Now when went back and read reviews for the first one I realised most of them goes like “ its good because its cheap, good value for money” might be the case for some but for me Medala was worth the price and I lost 50 quid on cheeper one which is now in the box and gave me PTSD.

Ordered this as it was the same brand as the one the hospital provided. The first unit didn't work, the suction wasn't working properly so it just pulled my nipple but didn't release it. Tried to return, but was told no returns and had to contact Amazon Customer Services who then agreed to replace the unit free of charge. This was a shame as it delayed my pumping while I had to wait for the replacement. 2nd unit works just fine, easy to assemble and comfortable to use. Tend to use only with mains as when using with batteries I don't even get 2 full uses.

We had a really bad latch due to a lip tie and I struggled a lot with breastfeeding. I bought this pump after using a manual one for a week and getting a really bad wrist! We chose medela because its the same one I used at the maternity hospital. The pump is fantastic. The suction is excellent with a wide range of strength to choose from and I can easily pump at least 80ml per breast. Dad can now do a night feed, which is great! Super easy to clean and sanitise. My only issues are that you have to hold it in place so stuck to the sofa a bit, and it only comes with one bottle. I was given a couple of medela bottles that fit by the hospital thankfully, as they're really expensive to buy! Really helped us keep going with breastfeeding. 2 months in now and very grateful for this pump.

My manual breast pump appeared to be giving up the ghost - I wasn’t sure if it was the pump or my supply giving up on me. I bought this whilst on sale with the hope it was my old pump giving up. This is easy to put together and apart to clean/sterilise. It’s relatively quiet and is more comfortable than my manual pump. The controls are very easy to use and respond quickly if you want to slow it down/speed it up. Would totally recommend and although it’s expensive it works brilliantly so in my view is worth it. My only annoyance is the measuring part starts at 50ml on the bottle provided!

To say its a high end brand it's not something I'd buy again. It's powered by batteries for starters! With how much I have to pump the batteries last maybe a day so I'm having to replace 4 AA batteries a day! It costs you more in batteries than its worth. The system isn't a closed system so I've often bent over whilst pumping as I've dropped something and lost half of what I've pumped all over the floor some how. The power seems to have deminished already and its been maybe a week. Its fine whne plugge din but who wants to be restricted to a plug socket whilst pumping! You'd of thought for the price you could charge it up thne be on your way like a lot of cheaper pumps out there. Also after sterilising so much the rubber part that helps with the suction now doesn't fit snug in the top which means it doesn't close snuggly which effects the suction power. All in all don't waste your money

WAY OVER PRICED! Suctions OK but not great, doesn't really mimick a baby. The item was faulty and the electrics stopped working after only 1 month of use. Luckily amazon came through and sorted as replacement ASAP otherwise I would have lost my milk supply. Faff having to return the broken item during covid Lockdown and having sleep deprivation from Newborn though!! I'd say you can get way cheaper and just as good electric pumps out there. The only real good thing I like about this product was the comfort of the seal around your breast. Oh and the colour

Had to express as supply wasn’t enough, had bought a cheaper electric pump which failed to collect anywhere near as the medella hand pump, first use of this had higher volume than just hand pump, easy to clean and use. Milk volume has now doubled thanks to the pump (and mars bars!) couldn’t recommend enough

A must buy pump for every feeding mom, very comfortable and works very efficiently. Easy to carry as well. Best product.

Good pump for the price. I previously owned Medela freestyle, but with third baby it final died, couldn't fix it in UAE though. So needed a replacement. This pump has cheaper finish to it, if to compare with Freestyle model, its much weaker suction for me and flexi flanges are terrible to my opinion i prefer the classic once. Otherwise get the job done well in pumping, takes longer time as well and you have to be near socket to use it. For this price point rechargeable batteries should be included as well as set of classic flanges for an option!!!

Happy and satisfied, pumps well and very powerful. I haven’t tried with the battery but connecting to electricity works well. Highly recommended

Quality of the bottle attachment that is needed to create suction is of very poor quality. Mine was damaged after 5 months of usage. Had to use rubberband so as to create vacuum. No replacement attachment is sold separately in India. Fortunately I got one from my sister who stays in US. Realised that the one sold in US is of better quality compared to the one sold in India

I dint like this product at all. I purchasedbit without going through reviews. It is not working for me. Suction of the pump is not working.
