Easy fix
Hot water was coming out the tap like lava. The old thermostat had packed in and the boiler was essentially boiling the water 24/7. Two wires to change, push in and done. Easy.

I purchased this model to replace an existing Immersion Heater thermostat manufactured by Ba........c which had stopped working correctly after only fourteen months and was a second replacement for one of the same make. This thermostat has a larger and easier to adjust temperature selector and is more accurate than the previous make and is also at a very good price. Recommended

Fist and Second faulty thermostat
I purchased the first thermostat and it was pre set at 65deg fitted without adjusting as wax held it at that position. Temperature over next 4 days stayed at 40deg. Purchased another and set faulty one back and same again temperature of water only reached 40deg. Will send back and purchase different thermostat.
