AcuRite Iris PRO+ (5-in-1) Weather Sensor with Rain Gauge, Wind Speed, Wind Direction, Temperature and Humidity (06014M)

Replaced an older AcuRite weather sensor that was beyond repair. The dual solar panel/fan makes the outdoor temperature more accurate. The original unit was always 10 deg higher than the actual temp. Checked the rain measurement against independent rain gauge and no adjustment was required. It paired right away to the indoor display

This is my third Iris, but the first in the Pro+ series. My old one was about 4 years old, and I noticed after I moved across the country, when I set it all up, the outdoor temperature reading went too high in the sun. Sure enough, the little fan the solar panels run, was not working. It was all pretty well worn, so I opted to get a new sensor and keep my two color monitors that worked fine before. I read where others could not get the old monitors to pair. DISCOVERY: Not only must you make sure they are on the same channel (which I did and they would not pair). I decided to switch from channel C, and put my two and the new sensor on channel A. Still no pair. I finally did this, and it worked like a champ: I had the new sensor in and set. Ready to go. Then on my monitors, I have the kind that have a plug in and three aaa batteries. I unplugged them, took a battery out, so it was all dead, then put the batteries back in, and plugged the adaptor in. Within about a minute, all the outside readings appeared. All I had to do was set dates and time, and choose lighting and other parameters on the monitor. So, all was good and I repeated the same at the other monitor. Other than that little step missed in the instructions and any FAQs or troubleshooting notes.

I tried to use the digital screen I already had from my last weather station & it won't connect. So I have ordered the whole set. I want to return the one I bought but it has been on my pole & in the rain & it's past the 30 days, so I guess I'll keep it. Just remember when you order, please order the station & the screen together.

I have had versions of this system for several years now. Slowly replacing one piece at time as needed. The last 5-in-1 stopped sending data after sunset. Batteries not engaging? Seller has replaced the sensor for a new one and it is operational as I type this recommendation. No matter what, the WX station has served me well over the years. I to recommend the system. I do recommend the Lithium Batteries for longevity. The quality has been great but I know the design has aged. Mounting is super easy. Display fit on the office shelf and is fully visible at a glance. A Factory reset might be in order to sync up the sensor with the base display.

I had my first one for 6 years. First bought when I moved from CA to Montana. I had to know what the weather was like outside as I had remodeled my home to be weather tight. I love this one. It finally gave up the ghost last year and could not find it again at Costco so got another one by LaCrosse which I have hated from the get go. It would never connect to the internet no matter what - and I had it replaced 3 times. So I broke down and got this model again. I have a Chihuahua rescue who has a heart murmur and I need to know what the temp is outside in order to make sure he is warm with a sweater or coat.

Don't waste your money on this cheap plastic crap. Initially, it worked pretty well (for less than a year), but it has been junk this summer, reporting hotter days than other weather stations, dramatically! Their support (Selene) is argumentative, will not listen, and claims that a 4-degree F difference is within their guidelines. Well, I am getting more than that on hot days over 90 degrees. Two other weather systems I have used to compare this AcuRite with are very accurate, and these two systems are within 1-2 degrees consistently on hot days. Their customer service (ha, ha) will not listen or agree that they have a defective unit, so little to no customer service. Pull up Five Best Weather Stations for 2026, and you will see AcuRite is #5: poorest accuracy, poorest wireless performance, build and durability are the poorest, and it goes on and on..... Poor quality, poor engineering, poor customer service, etc. Don't waste your money unless you want cheap and crappy quality and horrible accuracy. Spend a bit more and get what you pay for. This company needs to clean their management of dead wood!

I had to replace an old 5-in-1 that served me well for many years. This one is very accurate especially with humidity and pressure. My old one did not do real well with outside humidity and pressure. All the readings for this one are right on. When I calibrated the rain gauge before putting it up the gauge was right on as the manual stated the reading should be.

This is to replace an existing one that after about 5 years stopped working. Apparently it's a thing that some component that always goes every few years. They do sell the part as a spare part in America but not in Australia. So you need to buy all new one. Please note that you still have to buy an internal display or another module to do the online side of it.

IL a remplacé l'ancien qui ne fonctionnait plus après 3 ans. IL a suffit de le remplacer et de faire le lien dans la station météo et il fonctionnait.

We had to replace the exact same unit after approximately 7 years as it finally packed it in through fairly extreme weather conditions. So the install was very easy and the new unit connected quickly through wifi to the original two monitors that did not need replacement. Nice option to just buy the weather station only

Replaced a similar Acurite unit that lasted many years (so long that i can't remember the original purchase). Hard to believe that plastic can last so long

A multi sensor weather gauge for Rain, Wind, Temp and humidity. It works well with the sensors some distance from the display. I am not sure how accurate the temperature is at high temperatures. During a heat wave the they temperature was showing up to 4c higher then the weather bureau.At other times the temps are similar .
