Cheap but very good and lots of adaptors
No complaints and the price is incredible. Works absolutely fine on a 2017 Mini 3 cylinder engine. This engine has a very narrow spark plug hole so I thought it might not fit but the selection of adaptors included one that did fit. It feels decent quality, maybe not super accurate at this price but as a ballpark and for comparing cylinders it's spot on. If you can remove spark plugs then you can use this, it's super simple. The case is handy to keep everything together and clean. Very happy wirh this item and arrived next day as promised.

Gave me some great news… but I’ve no idea how accurate it is.
Bought to test the compression on my 1969 mg midget which had an engine rebuild some years ago before I bought it. It is using a little oil so wondered if the valves are going, but otherwise it seems to run very well. Didn’t want to spend a fortune on a tester as I may aswel pay a mechanic to do it otherwise. It’s not the sort of thing you need more than a couple of times in the vehicles ownership so went for this cheap one. Scores on the doors were 165psi on 1 2 and 3, and 172 on cylinder 4. I would have been happy with anything above 130psi to be honest but they were all very similar and nice and high so I’m over the moon with the results. However you won’t catch me bragging as the tester is after all cheap and possibly not the most accurate. However even if the readings themselves aren’t very accurate psi figures, the consistency of the readings is what matters and regardless of the quality of the gauge, it’s the same gauge used in all 4 cylinders and that’s what matters. Overall a good purchase. Delivered less than 12 hours after buying it, and readings within 24hrs. Lucky me they were good news, but I shall keep using the gauge periodically just to see if the readings drop over time. I highly recommend.
