Bobelock Featherlite 1003 Oblong Black/Blue 4/4 Violin Case

If you search my reviews, you'll see I recently purchased and then returned a violin case by ADM. I spent a little more on this case by Bobelock after returning the ADM and am now quite happy.This case is a little bigger and a little heavier than my old case. I decided I needed a larger case after changing shoulder rests. My new one does not collapse and it would not fit in my old case.The Bobelock has a Velcro strap under the neck of the violin just for the shoulder rest. It easily accommodates my non-collapsible should rest and that alone was the biggest selling point for me.The top and bottom halves align properly, close properly, and the overall construction is quite good. The general ergonomics of unlocking the case, accessing the zippers, etc. is generally well thought out.I'm also pleased that the layout and design of the bow holders (there are 4) allow me to insert and remove my bow without creating any pressure on the bow due to insufficient clearances between the holders, sides, and top of the case. I have a fine, older bow and keeping it safe is very important.There is a lot of room in the top pocket for holding music books and other small, miscellaneous items.The fit and padding is snug and cushy for a 4/4 violin.

I like this violin case very much. It looks and feels like the quality one would expect from Bobelock. The price is a bit higher than another seller I found online but only by several dollars. I liked it so much, I obviously ordered another. IMO, they could have put another storage pocket inside to keep one's rosin separate...oh well. Recommended for sure...

Good sturdy case. Nice interior. Only one issue I thought this would be changeable to a back pack but only 1 shoulder strap came.

I wanted a light case to replace my old case that was falling apart. This is very similar and I like it very much. I hope it lasts 20 some years like the last one did.

I picked this violin case for my birthday. I was very excited about it, I LOVED the color from the looks of the picture. But when I finally got the much anticipated gift, it wasn't what it had looked like in the picture!One of the things that attracted me to it was the pretty blue interior. I soon found that it wasn't that color at all, instead it was a DARK navy blue.I was quite disappointed by the difference, but chose to keep it since I would have to pay more shipping. I ask that you PLEASE CHANGE THE PICTURE so that you will give much more satisfactory service. Sincerely, Naomi Wong
