Keeping cool and no sunburn

I had a chance to use this on a hike last weekend. I usually hate hats as they get too hot but this one stayed cool. This is the first time I've used a hat while hiking. The mesh vents and white material really kept the heat off. Others in my group were talking about me saying "he must be hot in that thing". They were wrong. :) It has some elastic to fit various sized heads. Mine is larger than average so I was expecting it to be a bit tight but it didn't bother me at all.
