MSR Snow Picket (2019 Model)

Well made and light

Sturdy, solid cap to beat into snow, not spiked, but it is tapered at the bottom. Used for multiple trips up Baker, Rainier, Shuksan, and Eldorado Peak in PNW.

Not a bad picket I just wish it was sharpened on one end.

The picket was not new. It was scratched where hardware had been attached in each hole on the picket.

I'll just add that the black reinforcement is aluminum, not plastic as some have assumed. It's very well anodized, which may have confused some people.
