MOOG K80296 Suspension Stabilizer Bar Link for Mazda CX-5

2009 Ford Escape XLT 4WD Looks like an oem part, was packaged well and compared perfectly to the links I removed. Nuts and studs seems like good quality, grease fittings match the oem orientation. Same brand my local part house sells but $30 cheaper.

I bought these to tighten up the front end on my daughter’s 2010 Escape XLT. They worked wonders! We had the common clunking noise coming from the front end and the truck wasn’t tracking great - common signs that the bar links are bad. Price- cheaper through Amazon than any of my local parts stores. Quality- beefier and better made than stock. They also have built in grease bungs (make sure to grease them!) Install - not difficult, per se, but a real pain in the a**. It took 2-3 hours because everything was so corroded. Have lots of PB Blaster handy, spray everything down liberally, wait, repeat. The space you’ll be working is extremely tight, so be prepared. Also make sure that everything is tightened down to spec. I didn’t torque down one of the nuts enough & had to go back in to fix it. Overall, they’re well worth the price (and aggravation) of installing if you have a noisy front end. They really tightened everything up and quieted down the ride. Just leave yourself plenty of time to do it & have a few beers on standby!

The stabilizer links are strong and solid. They make the oem links look silly. However, when you go to replace them, at least on this car, it will seem that the stabilizer links are too long, too big. I struggled for hours reading and looking at videos for installation of these stabilizer links but it wasn't until I found an obscure video where the guy says that if you have trouble installing the links, you have to raise the suspension with a jack. He said it in 4 seconds but after that simple sentence, I was able to complete my installation. I had my car on jack stands and I took my floor jack and did what he said, I raised my suspension and what do you know, it worked!! I was able to raise my suspension enough where I could easily remove and install the stabilizer links. I don't know how other people on those youtube links could change out their stabilizer links so easily, but mine were a pain without raising the suspension. After this tip, I was able to complete both sides in about 45 minutes. Good luck!

I have a 2010 Ford Escape and these fit perfectly. No more "clunking" noise coming from the front end. These bar links are much more sturdy than the stock links on the car. They also come with grease zerks for routine maintenance....which I like as routine greasing will extend the life of these links. Some reviewers on here stated they didn't come pre-greased, however mine did have some grease in them, although I gave them a few extra hits for good measure. It may just be me, but car seems to handle a bit better on corners now too....that might be from having been used to some give/bending from the old links on the car. The only problem I ran into (which was not the fault of the links themselves) was that the strut mount for the top part of the link sticks out a little too far and you have to turn the wheel a bit (right for the left link and vice versa) to get the top bolt into the mount. Not a big deal though. You may not even have that problem depending upon the type of strut on your car. Overall, great links and highly recommend Moog and not "cheaping-out" on an important part of a car's suspension. Top quality links!

Installed on my vehicle a year ago & is still holding ok . I have read reviews of some people having grease boots damaged after few months of installation on their vehicles but so far I don't have that issue or noise coming from this Stabilizer Bar Linkage. Let's see how long it lasts .OEM lasted me for over 9 years . Will I recommend yes .If price is reasonable compared to parts store grab it and try it out . Moog & Mevotech same product.

Good product. I've seen reviews talking about the bolts are too long and would need to be trimmed to fit. That's not the case... Just turn the steering wheel and you'll have plenty of room to install these end links.

My '05 Escape original equipment sway bar links lasted about 13 years. I replaced them a cheap knock-off brand sold widely (well-known company) and they lasted a few years. Poor quality. They wore out and my suspension was making lots of noise again. I found the Moog parts on here much cheaper than my local parts store. The OEM part was sky high and my car doesn't have 13 more years in it. The Moog part was very sturdy. It had a grease fitting. And it had been redesigned to eliminate the need for an Allen wrench. Easier to install and get the bolts torqued up. The suspension rattling and popping is now gone and the steering feels sure. Since I can keep the joints greased they should be the last sway bar links I put on the car.

I ordered two Moog stabilizer bar end links MOOG K80296, but was sent two tie rod links, box was factory marked with ES3488 which is correct part # for Moog tie rod, then a sticker label and barcode was pasted on top of this for the end links for Moog #K80296. Mislabel of parts is a waste of my time and I have to reorder, more time wasted. Lack of attention to detail at Moog? or the Jungle Store? not sure which is at fault. Update, the jungle river replaced the mis-labled/marked moog parts with correct sway bar end links Moog part K80296 (both R&L same part), FWD or AWD & Hybrid Ford Escape. Moog parts are 1. much heavier duty to Ford part which has known issue of end links wearing out quickly causing suspension noise over bumps; 2. Moog parts are servicable with preinstalled grease zerts were OEM parts are not serviceable.

As expected - another excellent product from Moog Items were delivered sooner than anticipated. Well packed Install was on a 2010 Ford Escape. These sway links are much heavier and more durable than the Ford originals. In addition to being well built I believe that they absorb the road noise and vibration much better. I speculate that this could be because of the larger joint design and the fact that there is grease in there. Very easy for DIY project. Highly recommend this product

Used these in my 2008 Ford Escape Limited Edition. A small tip... When the car is jacked up(on one side) the lower nut is very difficult to loosen as there is very little room and a ratchet will not fit in. Before you jack up the car turn the wheels inwards and reach from below with a ratchet and it is quite easy to loosen the lower nut. Straighten the wheels... Jack the car up and it is an easy job from there. Repeat on the other side. Oh... Don't forget to grease the joints.
