Go Native Fruit Snack Bites 30g (Pack of 15) (Mixed Berry and Apple)

These Go Native strawberry and apple fruit bites are sweet, tangy and tasty fruit snacks. They resemble cut up fruit leather, but are moister and easier to chew. Eating fresh organic fruit is always better, but these fruit bites are easy to tote for kids and can pass as a reasonably healthy dessert. I like that they have a short list of ingredients- fruit purée, concentrate and juice, fiber, pectin and "natural flavor." There are no preservatives, artificial color, corn syrup or cane sugar. One serving has 21.5 grams of sugar- similar to a fresh apple which has about 19 grams of sugar. I'm posting a picture of one full serving size of fruit snack bites that come in a convenient pouch.What I'd like to know is what's used for the "natural flavor." That term is listed on so many processed foods, and it can mean almost anything-fruit, vegetable, yeast, bark, plants, spices, dairy, meat, seafood, poultry, and more. I inquired by email, and the company promptly responded that the flavor is "a natural secret recipe we don't disclose .... it includes some spices." In response to my inquiry, I was told there's no dairy or nuts. I'd still like more info, like confirmation that the product is vegetarian. Also, the price is steep for a snack food (about $2 a serving at this time), although the fruit bites taste good, seem high quality and are imported from New Zealand. I bought this Go Native product when it was an Amazon daily deal and am much more likely to buy it again if the price drops.

I'm glad I got these on a lightning deal, because I don't think I would fork over the money at full price. A bit too much for the amount that you get.I was the only one in the household who was eating these and sadly had to toss them. :( It wasn't a snack I was very excited about and I found it too sweet for my taste.

Great tasting fantastic ingredients only stipulation is the bites themselves are very small. I'm not one of these reviews that was bribbed with a free box. I actually bought this for 30 bucks. Great snack for when I'm pulling 11 hour shifts

Delicious combo! haven't been let down by a GO NATIVE product yet! Totally addicted since I picked up the raspberry/apple bars at the store in NZ a month ago!

Great taste albeit a little pricey, but in my opinion that small extra you pay is way worth the fact it is all natural. My sister tried it and ordered some for herself after.

These are basically fruit leather, but thicker and in pieces. This brand and flavor is positively scrumptious! I had bought them with a coupon, wish they were cheaper.
