....but that is a good thing. The filter cap actually has a male hose thread (MHT) connection. I removed the furnished plastic FHT cap and added a plastic hose end ball valve. It makes it very easy to flush while in use; just open the ball valve. I irrigate with creek water. The 120 mesh screen is a little too fine for my application. I was disappointed there was not a replacement screen or a screen with larger mesh openings for this model on the company web site - minus one star.

Exactly how described, I just added a 1inch threaded to 1 inch slip PVC fitting and it was good to go.

The filter was received in good order but a couple of weeks on the system which is a reclaim water auto sprinkler the body of the filter split down the body.ibplaced a screwdriver in the hair line crack just for better visual. This is definitely a manufacturer defect. I would like a replacement or credit please.
