Great for us!
We love this carrier! Second one we’ve bought for our Specialized Roll Elite bikes. Easy on and off (I fold down the upright piece so I can lift the first bike straight onto the carrier), secure even at highway speeds (we’re flying to and fro on an interstate going to our favorite bike trail almost daily), and the price is right. We did trim off the tabs on the ratcheting wheel tray straps - it is a new feature that actually made it harder for us to use the straps. Other than that, we can’t find anything wrong with the carrier. Again, we use it for conventional, lighter-weight bikes, not heavy or cumbersome e-bikes.

Good bike rack, instructions could be better.
Easy to put together and sturdy. Very tight fit into my receiver but a bit of grease solved that problem. I did not see any torque specs listed for the bolts. DO NOT overtighten the bolts. Once you have to start putting a little muscle into tightening, STOP. The supplied locknuts will protect against vibrating loose. I snapped two of the carriage bolts but it felt like they could have gone quite a bit tighter. Emailed saris about this issue and they sent a link for replacement hardware which they wanted an additional $11 for. Rack is very stable and doesn't shake the bikes around too much. Ive used it for about five 30 ish minute drives and haven't had any of the restraints come loose, or any other issues. Overall im happy with it, well priced for what you get from a reputable company.

Fantastic Bike Rack
This bike rack was fairly expensive, but as far as they go it's a great product. It is simple to put on and remove, and it doesn't weigh a ton so even a petite woman can do it without assistance. It holds our bikes securely and nothing wobbles at all. It also folds up so that you can drive around with it attached, if you wish, without it hanging out behind your car too far. Be aware though, if you choose to do that, you can't open your hatch with it stowed.

Destroyed bike.
I have owned this for a year and it has worked great, however I have only ever used it to carry one bike placed in the slot closest to the trunk. Today I picked up a friends bike to go trail riding (both bikes are 26 inch tires). I jumped on the highway (70 mph limit) and was going along when I noticed the bikes leaning far back, away from the car at an unusual angle. I slowed down but about this time the farthest out bike vanished from site. Pulling over I discovered the plastic hoop holding the bike tire cracked and the bike spilled. It was still looped in but dragging on the highway. The left handle was a mess, almost a half inch of mangled metal. Does not take much to mess up the light material of these bikes (a Haro Flightline Sport). Luckily I was very close to a bike world and pulled in there. Cost a total of $60 bucks to get a new handle and grips. I figured if all things considered, getting a new handle was not too bad. However after I tried out the bike the gear housing snapped off. There must have been pressure from the dragging that caused a crack that I did not catch. Dropped it off to have a mechanic check it out and estimate the damages and cost. I'll upload pictures later when I have a chance. Will update with company/amazon response.

Solid for price
Haven't hauled with it yet, seems okay It feels solid enough, the locking threaded pin has no play with my 1.25" reciever which is a plus. Wheel trays, the plastic is a little skimpy for my liking, but probably fine. And the straps, they really should have coated them. They're gonna scratch the rims real easily if dirty. I added some felt straps to make the surface smooth. For the price though you can definitely see why it's only 150 bucks with some of the little quirks. The locking mechanisms for all the mounts are okay but also feel cheap. Probably not gonna beat it for 150 though... especially for a wheel lock rack vs a frame hanger. I'd much rather use this than my Yakima frame hanger rack because that one scratched up all my bikes and they swung around

Amazing rack
I own roof racks, a trunk-mounted rack, and a SoftRide hitch rack. This rack is superior to all of them. I was tired of loading my bikes onto my roof rack or hoisting the incredibly heavy SoftRide, and this was the perfect solution. It's light weight, so putting in on and loading bikes is a snap. It's not only easy, but it mounts quickly (a minute or two), and it takes about 30 seconds to securely load each bike. One of the parts arrived broken, and Saris customer service was VERY easy to deal with. I can't imagine going to any other rack after this one.

Las bicicletas no quedan bien ajustadas, se corre el riesgo de que se caigan y toca estar siempre pendiente de ajustarlas en el camino ya que se van desapretando. Muy mal agarre a las bicicletas.

Moderate priced low weight 2 bike hitch
We have a more expensive Saris hitch that we just leave on one of our cars. We wanted a second platform hitch rack that was lighter and easier to take on and off. Once we got this rack set up it works fine and does what we want, it does not have the various build in locks that are on our more expensive rack but it does what we want it to do

The Saris rack is much lighter than original designs making it easier to mount and remove from the hitch. Bike supports are tailored to the shape of the wheels providing excellent support while the working parts fold out of the way when not in use. Cost for the unit is also significantly less than other brand name items. Only real drawback - initial assembly tests one's patience somewhat but only has to be done once.
