23-Compartment Original Junk Drawer Organizer Tray, Plastic Multipurpose Storage Bin for Drawers, Granite

The junk drawer in my house is like the most used drawer in the house. That said, it's messy most of the time thanks to children who dig through it searching for whatever and people with a penchant for clearing surfaces quickly into the drawer without a desire to put most things away. It quickly devolves into mayhem. I ha e spent hours weeding out my junk drawer so I can access things I need. That said I am almost done with my new kitchen. I planned a special cabinet for my junk drawer and some bins under that contain the worst offenders of the junk drawer...namely kids school supplies, batteries, hardware and tools. I also did something amazing, I allocated a special space in my pantry for all my go to tools, hardware and things that require charging. It was a promise I made myself years ago. Now I have well organized, easily accessible, movable layers of functional spaces for all my stuff. I can see it all easily and these fit almost perfectly. I sliced off the back and the lip on the inner sides to offer space optimization. The exacto knife needed to scribe the plastic a few times before penetrating. I spent ages trying to deal with a junk drawer that was awful. Between these organizers and full extension drawer slides, my life got a whole lot better. Don't even hesitate, these are great!

This really is the best office drawer or "junk" drawer organizer I've tried and, after about 40 years with various somewhat office/desk based jobs, I've tried a few. I am using this one in my home office as an office organizer for things like extra pens, "sticky notes", scissors, paperclips, etc. My stapler even fits so storing all that in an organizer like this really cleans up the desk as well as keeps all those types of things in their place. I like having paperclips, binder clips, rubber bands in the top and less-used or needed items in the bottom. For me the drawer fits quite nicely. The desk drawer I am using it is 15X12X2 1/8. The actual top of the organizer is the stated dimensions, though the bottom is slightly slimmer; about 10.25X14. The top fits over the side of my drawer and can leave a little room on the side and back which is fine to drop in a ruler or something. The top slides easily for me or just lifts out for a more complete look below. I think this is a good product at a good price. It seems solid enough and I expect it will last for years to come. I recommend this organizer for the office desk for sure. I may get one for the kitchen junk drawer as well but first, based on liking this, I've also ordered the Madesmart modular set to organize a small electronics drawer (like batteries, charges, extra cables) in my desk as well.

I can't say enough good things about this product. I was so tired of my nightstand being a train wreck. I was constantly digging through the mess trying to find things. Not anymore! The sliding top part is a great innovation. It lets me keep the things I use the most right on top and easy to reach. The things I still need but not as much go on the lower part. By being able to slide the top part back and forth I can see and find everything that's on the lower part. I was honestly shocked and amazed how much I was able to fit in this thing. From the pictures I thought it wouldn't be much, so I bought a second cheaper option for the lower drawer. I ended up using the cheaper model for my bottom drawer to hold larger items, but I really didn't need it. This holds everything I need right where I can find it as soon as I need it. A great product at a great price!

I like this desk drawer tray. I have it in a 2-drawer type file cabinet that has a small third drawer "pencil" drawer up top and sits under my computer table. Frankly, its the only drawer I've actually put to use with this tray so far as I haven't filled out the other drawers with files in the few months I've had the cabinet! Anyway, this tray fits the drawer pretty well and it allows me to organize the stuff I want in there mostly as I'd like it. About the only thing I don't like, and this is really a personal thing, is that there are a lot of smaller compartments where I'd like a few more larger ones. So if you're looking for many smaller ones to hold things like size of paper clips, credit cards, and keys, with a few slots for pens and pencils, this is the tray you'll want. However, if you need it more for several kinds of pens, scissors, and other long items, you might look elsewhere. I like the upper and lower portions of the trays. I can take the upper part out and store lesser used items in the back of the lower part. I put my most used items in the front of the upper part, the next most used items in the front of the lower part, and then organize from there. I'm sure I will change something at some point. As I've noted, the only real frustration so far is that there is only about 3 slots total for longer writing instruments and another one for shorter such items and no real place for a long, wide item like scissors. They will fit in there just not neatly set in a compartment. In other compartments, you can throw small post-it note pads, small usb drives and similar items. Maybe even a roll or two of labeling tape. All in all, I'd recommend this item with the listed reservations.

This is one of my favorite office storage solutions. It fits perfectly in the middle two drawers of the IKEA Alex cabinet and holds a TON of items. I have one in each drawer and both have saved me a ton of desk clutter. I got my second Madesmart junk drawer on sale for $15, which I consider to be a good price. It's typically marked at $20, which is too high. That's why I had it in my cart for a year before I finally bought it.

I have one of these in my work bench, I bought it many years ago. Glad I found this again. I took a chance on ordering this because the description is wrong, it is not 23 compartments, it is 15 compartments. Look for the pictures that show the little tray with 8 compartments and the big one 9 compartments. At least that is what I received and I'm happy that is what I got. Very versatile organizer.

The drawer organizer works very well and with the many various sizes of compartments everything I had in my messy drawer now looks organized and I can find things in an instant. The smaller tray sits on top of the large one and slides back and forth for even more storage

This was very handy in cleaning up and organizing our junk drawer. I wish it had something that allowed the top to lift up while staying attached, instead of having to pull it out, but that is but a minor critique. For what it’s designed to do and the price, it’s sturdy and holds more than expected.

Happy with the quality and build of these plastic inserts - they happened to fit the drawers we had perfectly - but felt the price was a little high for a piece of molded plastic. I'd buy them again, as they fit - but could do with being 20 percent cheaper at least :)

Queda estupendo en la conocida cajonera de escritorio ALEX, sobra un poco al fondo, pero de alto y ancho es exacto. La parte de arriba se puede deslizar o sacar fácilmente para acceder a lo que tengas almacenado en la parte inferior.

The measurements are listed as 15" x 11 1/2". Mine is 15" x 11 1/4". This doesn't matter to me but for others who have to fit a specific drawer that might be smaller, it might. -- The compartments are great. -- This tray holds more than one might think. -- The plastic is very strong. -- One might think the dots on the bottom surfaces are useless, but they make things easier to grab. -- The top tray slides easily but not overly-easily which prevents accidentally smashing it against one side or the other when moving it, thereby preventing its contents from being bumped out of the tray. -- The bottom dividers come up to the top tray without scraping it, enabling the bottom compartments to hold 1" high worth of stuff. -- I did compare this tray to others before purchasing it; although I wish it were priced a little better, it was the only one that had all the compartments to hold things of all sizes, it was the only double-one, and is the only one that probably has the durability it does, so it's worth it. -- As you can see by my photos, my stuff is spread out, and I have a ton of space left in it. -- My drawer is small, so I use it sideways (which is the way I photographed it), which enables me to see everything at all times. -- Great tray. I recommend it.
