Air Cooler, Portable Air Conditioner Fan Noiseless Evaporative Air Humidifier for Room Office Desktop Nightstand

This thing is great! Small but powerful. My house doesn't have a/c and my bedroom is upstairs (hottest room). Its been too warm to sleep comfortably, until I purchased this. Now it cools off my whole room while I sleep. The battery does not last overnight but you can use it while it's plugged in! I will be purchasing another one for my office!

I bought this air cooler to cool me off while sitting on my deck. I get so hot out on the deck but want to enjoy it. I just wanted cool air to blow on my face to cool off. This product did not do this. First, the air is barely cool. Not really even “cool”. It is “cooler” than the 85 degrees outside but not cool enough. Second, the air force produced can not even reach my face! I put it on the patio table right in front of me and the air from it could not reach approx 12-14 inches to my face! Last, the battery sent with it did not even last 30 minutes! I should have listened to my husband when he said don’t waste your money on it. It won’t do what you want it for. He was correct.

I ended up returning it. So the technology is that there is a pool of water that is sucked up through paper strips (just capillary action), and a computer fan blows through it. It's a very tiny version of a swamp cooler. I'm returning it because:1. It's super-low quality. All parts of plastic, the fan is worth about $0.50 new from a computer shop, and the strips of paper aren't very absorbent.2. I'm not sure the technology is sanitary. Swamp coolers are often exposed to the sun to sanitize them. This technology has water stagnate at the bottom of the unit which is really hard to clean and never exposed to the sun.You'll get much better results by putting a wet towel behind a $16 box fan.

Worst product ever. I am going to return it. It had a 4.5 star rating. I'm wondering if I received the right product. In the description, it said you put ice in it. This one you put water in it.It has 3 speeds, only the low speed worked. I left it in a room to see if it would cool the room, and it wasn't on anymore. It shut itself off. I turned it back on, and it was going for awhile, and it shut off again, and it wouldn't turn back on. Broke after one time use.

Reviews were good for this, which convinced me to choose it. Not sure how it has good reviews...makes you wonder. I only chose 1 star because I couldn't choose zero stars. Item arrived in a box that was somewhat squished down. Unpacked item and found that it was made very very cheaply, with thin plastic and not put together well. Filled reservoir with water, attached it, only to have water pour out everywhere. Found a seal that had come off. Replaced the seal, refilled water. It leaked very little, but still some. Attempted to attach the power cord. Power cord slot was damaged and off...metal part had shifted to be partially covered by plastic area around opening. After finally manipulating it so it appeared to be lined up, got power cord plugged in. No power. Ready to give up, but I tried one more time. Moved and manipulated the connecter, pushing down on area below reservoir until finally got it in and secure enough for power to turn on. Replaced reservoir. Power on, nothing happens. Following directions, which weren't entirely accurate, still nothing. Fan doesn't work at all. Open top and pull out filter, which also spills water all over again. Still nothing. Finally gave up, packed it up and prepared to send it back. I've been making purchases from Amazon for many years. This is my first negative review and the first item I have ever returned. Horrible product.

This is small and runs on a battery. Okay great, but the air does not get cool even when using ice water and the air movement is minimal regardless of what speed you have set. This is no more than an expensive portable fan. Mine is in a box on it's way back, save your money if you are really looking for something useful.For context, i have an office in an air conditioned house and I had this sitting on the desk right by me. The temp in the room was around 80 (hence my need for some cool air) so not crazy hot. I could barely feel the air moving and the fan was about 12 inches from my body. The air temp was absolutely no different than my existing fan.

Very cheap product. More like s $20.00 item, not $50. Cools a little , almost the same as a fan and no messy water spilling. Today UPS (7/22), DID NOT come to pick up. I need them to bring a label and pick up item. Or I can take to an amazon box, much easier.

BEWARE. DO NOT BUY.The seller is constantly editing the product and info, into something else in order to keep star ratings to lure people to buy it.Anyway, my product doesn't even look like the one being advertised now. I know this, because looking back on my orders, the picture of this fan is different from the one I bought. Why would a new fan I never bought appear on my past orders?So, even if you are desperate or really believe this product works, remember that the seller is deceiving you.
