Vehicle must be off. 2. Place the working remote(s) in the cupholder. Have the new remote with you. 3. Insert the key into the key lock cylinder located on the outside of drivers door. 4.Turn the key to the unlock position five times with in five seconds. 5. Then, get back in the car and put the new fob in the holder inside the armrest with the buttons facing forward. The display will say programming #3 or whatever number you have, and then it is done. Literally took 5 seconds for that part. Instructions then say to take the new fob out and hit the unlock button twice, then turn the ignition key to on to exit programming. That's it!
