However, it is plastic, not metal. Take some time to get the placement correct. Clean the location very well with the alcohol applicators. Ensure that the outside temp is above 50 degrees and the instruction recommends to allow 24 hours for the adhesive backing to bond to the fairing. I positioned the lashes on the fairing and held the lashes with scotch tape. I could then spend time looking and adjusting to get final location selected. I then applied some tape as locators as to where to place the item when ready to place in the permanent position. You wont get a second chance to move item once the backing is removed from the adhesive. It will stick. You must get it in the correct place before the item contacts the fairing. Spend some time and you will be proud of the results. I would purchase again however, I would probably purchase the lighted lashes.
