DevaCurl One Condition & DevaCurl No-Poo 32oz Duo 2016 Release

Loved the product until I realized its making my hair fall out. This amount and more comes out every time I wash my hair. They say formula is so gentle and good for your hair but obviously something is wrong. I never chemically treat or dye my hair and I’ve only been using the devacurl products, along with protective styles for my hair. I’m going to stop using any of their products and see if my hair stops falling out.It’s such a shame because I really thought I’d found a product line that really works for my hair and doesn’t contain all of the harmful chemicals that harm your hair. Very disappointed as I begin the search all over again for a product that not only works, but also keeps my hair healthy.

This is not real DevaCurl product. Smells nothing like the real thing, stay away.

Since the Diva Curl fiasco I’ve stopped using this product until the verdict is out. I really like this product so I hope things can get figured out.

Do your research first.... wish I did.At first I thought it was just me losing some hair, but after reassessing (I'm only 21) and seeing huge clumps come out several times... I looked it up. The rumors and scandal is true. Stay away from Diva Curl. Shea Moisture is a good replacement though!

INCREDIBLY happy with this line! The BEST products I have ever used for my hair and the smell is phenomenal!I have Caucasian textured hair but it is extremely thick, curly, frizzy, big.... any "calming" shampoo I have used has weighed my hair down way too much, has taken the curl completely out, and or has made my hair greasy. OR I get a shampoo that is cleansing and volumizing and I end up with nothing but fluff and poof. This stuff is a game changer! It leaves my hair light and clean feeling, volumized, defined curls, moisturizes, and tames my frizz. NOTE: if you are used to a sudsy, lather feel... you will not get that with this. There is no suds and no rather... the shampoo kinda feels like a light conditioner. BUT it absolutely deep cleans.

This Deva Curl no poo shampoo and conditioner is different than what I buy at Ulta. The fragrance is not the same and the consistency is off.I’m not sure why.

My hair is soft and fine, but with what I would call frizz thickness to it.It is also colored.Also, I am 50 yrs old which means the texture of my hair is different than it used to be.This shampoo and conditioner are both very gentle products that have nothing in them that would strip your hair of what it needs to be as healthy as it can be.If you are a first time user, expect no suds out of this shampoo at all. It cleans your hair without things that will strip it. Your hair is cleaned of everything that you intended to get out of it without taking the good stuff.The conditioner is wonderful too. It detangles your hair along with conditioning it to a good shine.I use nothing else since I started with these products.

I have been a loyal Deva Curl client for five years! I loved their products, techniques, and even get the DevaCut. I used to love how my hair looked and felt with the products. Even when the change of ownership came and their products started to get marked up, I figured it’s still worth it. Then, for the past few months especially, I’ve noticed changes in my hair and scalp. I had been using the same products for years, no-poo shampoo, one condition, styling cream, believe-in, and ultra defining gel or the arc-angel gel. However, my scalp became itchier and itchier, dryer and dryer, and now I have dandruff I can’t get rid of. What’s worse, is my hair! It became dryer and coarser. The worse it got the more products I used and the more I washed it. I tried different techniques and brushing it differently. Always slept with a silk pillowcase AND silk bonnet. Then I figured I should get DevaCurl’s Melt Into Moisture Conditioning Mask. It just made things worse. My hair shed to new extremes, making my hair look flat and thin, my scalp got worse with dry patches that felt tight and hard. My hair was so dry and coarse even after washing my hair, at the end of the day it was matted. Keep in mind I have 3A/B curls, it takes quite a bit to have it matted. not tangled, MATTED. Which of corse meant I had to wash it more, and brushing through it made it fall out more! My curls werent taking shape like they used to. My curls looked more like matted, dry, haystacks that slightly waved. My scalp became sensitive to brushing, it was a nightmare! I stopped using DevaCurl in just a week and I’ve noticed a huge difference already. My curls haven’t fully recovered, but I’m hopeful they will. I will not buy DevaCurl again unless they address this and change to fix the issue. So disappointed, five years of spending money one overpriced products and this is how they repay me. I honestly just want them to go back to how they used to be. Now I have to warn everybody I’ve been recommending this product to for the past five years.

I already use this product and love it!:) this was a second set bought as a gift.

Really like this shampoo. buy the large size and save on ordering again. Retail shops have quite a Large markup and do not often offer in combo pack.
