Unit failed after a few days. Shaft actually sheared off behind the gear. Upon further inspection comparing to original oem motor, the stator windings are exposed versus the oem which is completely sealed. This motor will not last in any machine for any extended period. U definitely get what you pay for. Buy the oem starter especially since they are a pain to change and leaving u stranded on the water will ruin your day.

Much better price than any where else, seems like good starter will know more at end of next summer.

Works good. Make sure you buy the correct starter for your ski. I put this in my 1997 GTI, and had to modify a mounting bracket to do that. Also one of the 2 pole screws on the far side arrived bent about 45 degrees. Had to use a screw from the old starter. So took some work but made it fit.

Bad product. Shaft snapped in two and caused damage to my flywheel teeth because it was spinning when it broke off. I bought the starter at the end of April and havnt used it very much. Not happy with the quality

Had an issue with the first order they immediately credited my account ,. I felt so good about it I ordered it again and it works great.

Wrong starter the rear mount in wrong place but used the inside parts to rebuild my old one.

Fast shipping for my boat and I'm back on the water! I just wish putting it on was as easy as getting it was!
