Ionic Tablet Stand Leather for Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 Keyboard case Bluetooth (White Red)

Took a while to receive. It came one day after the estimated shipping cycle. I think I just was excited and ready to use it, because its tough to use the keypad on the tablet to type. Great product! Very classy, it is anice addition to my work, and leisure. Very compact. I like the fact that itis removable yet sturdy. Case and stand appear to be durable, and gives me a sense of comfort knowing that my tablet has some protection, because the sides of the case overlap and offer protection in the event of a fall. I was very pleased to find out that it has a lithium ion battery. The amazon basics bluetooth keyboard that I bought is ran on 2 triple A batteries so I like this one much better. The on and off switch is readily accessable just down from the keyboard. "Genius" The set up was also very easy and literally took less than a minute. A card with step by step instructions was provided along with pictures. Excellent buy! And very affordable! Hope this helps!

I took a chance on this case because the price was decent and the product reviews didn't seem too scary. I'm pretty happy with my purchase. I'll first list the cons, then the pros.Cons:Like many reviews I read, the directions that come with the case are sparse. It would be nice if there was information on how long the keyboard holds a charge. The instructions that I received did say to charge it for 3 - 4 hours for first use, which I found helpful - especially since some reviews I read stated that their instructions didn't have that information. This makes me feel like the manufacturer is listening to folks and making changes.Kind of a trivial tidbit, but important to some: the grammar and spelling in the instructions is atrocious in places. This kind of makes me think "Oh, crud, if they don't care about a professionally worded manual/pamphlet thing what else do they not care about?" It's cringeworthy to me, but I will also offer that the set up was easy to figure out.The case stands open with an easel on the back, making it difficult to use in your lap. Again, a minor thing to me but worth mentioning for others.Typing is awkward and takes practice, but that's been true of any tablet keyboards I've purchased in the past. I just need to learn to practice a little more on it is all. The apostrophe works by pressing function and L...and that's been the hardest for me to adjust to.The case is a little clunky when reading a book or magazine. I feel like that's to be expected if I want a keyboard in the case, so it's just something I'm trying to get used to.The case doesn't automatically close properly when I close it. I have to adjust it and look to make sure that it's turned off my Kindle as it should. That's annoying.Pros:The case is attractive and well made. I was worried about the easel on the back being one of those that you have to bend with some force in order to get it to work, but that's not how it works. It stands firmly on the easel and the easel is magnetic...so it always attaches back to the case firmly. (Instead of sticking out because you just had to bend the hell out of it to stand it up.)The charging port for the keyboard is on the opposite end as the charging port for my Kindle Fire HDX, which is great for me because I won't get them confused and accidentally charge one when I think I'm charging the other. (This is typical absent minded stuff for me).The case has the auto-wake up feature so that when I open it my Kindle powers on. That's a must for me.For the money, I'm happy with my purchase. It's not perfect but for $35 I didn't think it would be.

This case arrived yesterday and the actual case part fits nicely around my kindle fire hdx7. That's all the good stuff I can say about it. The stitching was already coming undone when I got it, the leather was bent and had a crease in it, it had black smudges all over it, and the keyboard didn't work. I charged the keyboard overnight and when I woke up and saw it didn't have any power in the morning I thought I must've charged it wrong and charged it again all day. Once again this evening the keyboard didnt work. I tried reading the instructions for it which were in broken English and were unhelpful. After reading all the other reviews about keyboard problems I can see this is a big problem. I already contacted amazon and I am returning this for a refund. Don't waste your time!

I ordered this and was thrilled with how quickly it came and the construction of the case and how securely it held the kindle in place. I was excited when it initially worked like a charm (despite some of the reviews saying that their keys didn't work). However about a week later when I turned the keyboard on to use it, several of the keys would not work. I ultimately ended up sending the item back because they keyboard was unusable with the 8,I,K and M keys not functioning. I'm completely disappointed but have since found a different case and am looking for a quality keyboard that I can use separately.

The case is lovely. Good design, very basic instructions. However, this keyboard is useless at home because the Bluetooth blocks my Wi-Fi connection entirely. Consider redesigning to operate off a different GHz than the Wi-Fi on the kindle.

As I read through the reviews of the varioius case options, there seemed to be a lot of issues with all of them. I chose this one for my Kindle Fire 7" HDX because the functionality was the closest to what I was looking for. The Kindle was a Christmas present for my 7 y.o. I wanted a case that covered the screen, gave the kindle a bit of cushion for bumps and falls, and had a way of staying closed when being carried. Many of the cases do not cover the screen or do not latch when closed so they could be harder for a 7 y.o. to carry.This case looks very nice, the stand works well, the red flap keeps the case closed when you want it to be. The keyboard was very easy to connect to the kindle - it took a number of seconds.There is easy access to the on/off button as well as the volume and AC input.The kindle turns on and off when the case is opened as shut just as is advertised.The keyboard is handy and I am glad that I got a case that included the keyboard. I see my daughter getting more familiar with typing rather than just 'pecking' at the keys with one finger.Overall, this is a great case and I will order it again the next time I buy a tablet.
