While I appreciate the versatility and light weight of earphones, I have always had a problem with the earbuds. Even though most earphones tend to give you 3 or 4 different sized adapters. It’s either too loose so that its constantly falling out. On the other hand,if I try to go for a tight fit, it tends to hurt the ear canals after a while. The Active Max solved this problem by having a rather innovative feature – “Contour fit Anti-slip collar”. This is a semi-flexible metal built into the cable that coils around the back of your neck. The cable itself is coated in a warm silicone like rubber which clings lightly to the neck. It’s not heavy or sticky but it does a surprisingly good job of holding the cable in place. I have tried running, jumping and even showering (Because its waterproof) in this and it has stayed perfectly put on the back of the neck. It’s quite a simple design but its work wonderfully well. Running is especially good as headphones tends to be too heavy and bulky to wear, so that leaves only earphones as viable. But the problem with earphones is that large body movements cause the cables to swing and the earbuds to fall out. The Active Max is the only earphone I have seen that stays so well put around your neck. It also comes with magnets at the end of the earbuds so you can connect them together like a neckband if you want to give your ears a rest. The sound quality is also well above average with a lot of details and textures across the frequency range. The lower frequency is usually easy to just make loud but hard to clearly reproduce all the details. I was pleasantly surprised by how much subtlety and intricacies the bass has in the Active Max. Really well done, precise and articulate. The mid and treble also blends well with both being very smooth and lush. In fact, I would go as far as to say that the sonics comes very close to my Bang & Olufsen premium. The B&O has the advantage when you are sitting quietly but as soon as you try to use it while running or walking, the Active Max pips it with a purer sound that has less outside distraction. Bearing in mind my B&O is over five times (Yes, I was a brand snob back then) the price of the Active Max, it is clear where the best bang for bucks lie. It has transformed my workout as previously I gave up on listening to music while running as it gets uncomfortable for my ears after a while. Heck, I even convinced myself for a while that listening to music while training is bad as you lose focus on the workout because my old sport earbuds keeps falling out. Well, trust me when I say nothing beats running in the refreshing morning rain while listening to your favourite tunes as the world goes by.

I use the headphones for home and occasional commute, but generally speaking i don't use them for exercise or a huge amount when im commuting, I don't like wearing headphones out in public space and so I needed something smaller. This was the answer, not only was this earphone great to use but its got a few perks of its own. First of all its wireless so you don't need to physically connect this to your phone. This saves a lot of hassle when you have to hustle your way around town. The magnets on the earpieces stops you from losing them when you take them off as it creates a ring or neckace around you so it can' slip off. Sound wise its simiilar to the headphone with a V shaped sound signature but its not overly bassy or too bright. for calls its not bad, the microphone sits on what i believe is the battery block and voices come out quite clear and I think for the few calls ive used this with I don't have any complains with anyone hearing me speak. Battery is alright I think it can provide a dozen or so hours maybe a bit more, I haven't really timed it but regardless it can last for a whole day or two. Very comfy and very good especially for the low price point.

Not good from me unfortunately! I was excited to read reviews that said these earphones were great for running. They were, and the weighted part around the neck does stop them from bouncing around too much. Sound quality is fine, nothing special but as good as you might expect. Overall I was very happy with my purchase. After maybe half a dozen runs though the battery will not hold charge whatsoever, to the point that I am only able to turn them on immediately after they are taken off charge. A complete waste of money for me.

Bought these headphones after my partner had bought a pair and she was impressed. So was I in the end! Sound quality is really good on them. Noise cancelling surprised me for in early headphones and the battery life lasts forever (as long as you remember to turn them off after you are done). They sit really nicely around your neck and don’t shift to one side. The only downside is after 5 months of use I’ve started to get a crackling in the left ear, which can be a bit annoying hence the 4 star but apart from that really good! Definitely would buy.

You know before I got my headphones i actually had these wireless earphones, I knew i wanted something to listen to when I went out for a run and honestly I wanted wireless straight away as I don't like the idea of tangling cables even if it meant sacrificing the audio quality. However, with this earphone I was very surprised by the quality of audio from a wireless device, in fact i was so pleasantly surpsied by it that I got the headphones from this company because i was very impressed with this one. So first off the audio, i initially thought it was going to sound like absoloute rubbish but i was very and pleasantly surprised by how great these sound despite being BT, its a bit on the bassy side so its not studio quality earphones ( not like you'd want those for earphones) but my word does it sound clean and clear like premium quality audio products. Its got a bit of kick in the lower frequencies too but it doesn't sound booming or over the top its actually quite controlled. These are very comfy to wear i don't think they've really slipped off my ears when I job and the wireless option really helps with tangling, I've never really used earphones before so right now i'm quite impressed. The battery is advertised it can get through the weak with a bout a hour workout a day, so for my use this is alright and decent. Overall its a good quality product from this company and if you're looking for a exercise earphone I can give this my recommendation.

The sound quality is great, sits nicely in ears during my running sessions. Lasted only 12 months.

Have had this for about 7 months - a month ago the left earbud started crackling and over the course of a week the whole headset would start malfunctioning. Now it only works occasionally, along with the following issues (which occur at random, with no notable pattern): - Power goes out (within 1 hour of full charge) - note this occurs at random, ie not every time I use it. - Batteries overheat to the point of burning skin - Small electric shocks from the mic/control unit - Left earpiece emits static and drops in and out - Both earpieces cut out This is a real pity, as when I first purchased this last Oct, it was a great find - so good that I bought a second pair in Apr this year. I've taken care with these (they stay around my neck, or on a table when not in use - not tossed in with other cords and items). I don't mind if this is a one off faulty model - but would appreciate the ability to return these for some explanation/investigation into the issues and a fix to ensure they work normally again.

I already own a good pair of over ear headphones which do the job well but I need something a bit more convenient and on the go. As a Ipod and Iphone user I was thinking of getting the Airpods, but the price was so off putting I as with most Apple products. I originally tried a Apple imitation Bluetooth earphones. I found the battery life to be terrible and worse yet the sound quality was abysmal, the connection was completely unstable too. I decided to get these based off a recommendation, I trust this person with their taste so I went in with little sceptism. To my pleasant surprise these earphones fit the bill! The sound quality was far better than I could of hoped for and the battery life was great too and I had no connection issues. I can keep these around my neck when not in use by connecting the two earpieces together, If you are thinking of buying these they are well worth it!
