Great Product
I bought this bag to transfer my cello to and from lessons. I have a Bobelock hard case but l wanted something a little lighter. The studio is located in an older building and l have to carry the cello upstairs and the staircase is narrow. It does the job. The bag is sturdy but light enough for me to maneuver my cello around.I bought another bag ( from another vendor) off Amazon and the zipper broke within two months. There is one pocket that you can easily store rosin and the bow sleeve has enough room for two bows. There is an additional pocket for books and back straps. The one thing l wish they would change...you have to insert the scroll/neck inside the bag. The zipper does not go up and around the top.Otherwise, l like the appearance too. Strong stitching. The bags come in additional colors (besides black) if your lucky to find them. You may have to search around.Anyway, it's a very good product from a good reliable company.

Nicely constructed, thoughtful features
Nicely constructed, thoughtful features, and adequately padded for careful transportation. Overall, I like this case. I would suggest two improvements: a rigid tunnel of reinforcement in the area that encases the scroll of the cello. When worn as a backpack, thus case sits high above one's head and the potential for knocking that part of the case is high. I found a rigid, square Tupperware piece and cut the bottom out of it so that when shoved up the top end of the cello bag, it formed a rigid enclosure around the scroll, yet allowed the length of the cello to still fit within the case adequately enough.Another issue: My cello's endpin barely fits inside the length of this case. I wish the case was 1" longer so the zipper completely covers the endpin and is not divided at the bottom in a two-zipper design with gap at bottom for the endpin' protrusion (if needed, depending on the length of a given cello), instead being one designed as one continuous zipper.

Great protection at a great price
We needed a lightweight case to protect my son's cello during his daily commute (mostly by car), to/from, and during school, lessons, concerts, etc..., This case meets that need well, and at a reasonable price. The string instrument shop where we purchased the cello, sells a similar bag for more than 3x the price of this bag. Granted, that bag is made in USA, and probably had a little more durable exterior, but I couldn't justify spending almost 1/3 the cost of the instrument, on a case. This is the 2nd Bobelock bag we've purchased, so I can attest to the quality and durability. The first was for my son's 3/4 size cello (he recently moved to a 4/4), and after over a year of daily commutes (and middle school hallways), it still looks new; but more importantly, his instrument still looks new!I'd highly recommend this bag for a student cellists. IMO it provides adequate protection from the elements, and the minor bumps it will encounter in a normal commute and throughout a school-day.

Could not be happier!!!!
I have been playing Cello for about 2 years now and while the one I bought was used it came with a very cheap bag, it barely offered any protection at all, I saw this exact model at one of my orchestra practice and I had to ask the lady who had it where she got it from, although she didn't get it from Amazon I decided to look and found an even better deal here!! The bag is SUPER padded but not extremely bulky, it offers tons of cushion for the bridge and the neck which I found none of the other bags had. The material is of high quality and if you see the bag from afar you can tell is no ordinary bag. The straps are very comfortable too. I actually use the one shoulder strap, it just feels more natural to carry it that way. The bow sleeve is made of the same material and offer plenty of protection to the bow. I am extremely happy with my purchase and I would absolutely recommend it. This is not a cheap bag and you always get what you pay for, so the extra $$ spend is worthy. GET IT!

Quality and lightweight
At first I worried that it seemed too small for my cello, but it's just snug. My instrument is well-protected. I don't like that you can't unzip the case all the way up to the scroll and must pull it down over the pegs, but it comes with two separate bow cases *within* the bow pocket, and has backpack straps. I bought a second one for my son's more-expensive cello and canceled a hard case because I could see that it was good quality.

Best cello soft case out there.
The best cello bag out there. They sell this bag with the cellos at the music stores - but this is a great price. Has great padding, provides parents less worry that something will happen to the cello without having to buy an expensive hard case.

Nice case.
Dependable company. Sometimes a hard case isn’t appropriate.

Light, great backpack option
Love this case! I replaced my old Mooradian bag, this is definitely a step up. Great backpack straps and 2 bow sleeves, plus a standard shoulder strap and handles in case you need to carry the cello in tight quarters.. Much easier than lugging around my hard shell case.
