I wasn't sure how helpful this book would be--but I'm so glad I bought it to compliment the novel. This book is easy to use and has many fun projects and exercises that compliment the novel

This was very helpful and included much more than just comprehension questions. My students especially liked the mini skits. I assigned the quotes as a home assignment and got good results. They were a great way to test a thorough reading of the text.

Not exactly related to the common core.

Very inclusive. Great ideas. Loved the lesson plans. The book helped to lay the foundation for book with pre reading activities.
