This chair is better than what the big box office supply stores sell at the same price range. I researched for a week before making my decision & it is a great bargain. It was packaged well & my husband put it together very quickly. I am using it in my kitchen where my laptop is & I sit for hours working everyday. Since it is in the kitchen, and I have a 1 year old grand-daughter, I used several coatings of Scotch-Guard to protect the fabric. The fabric is quality & attached expertly. I needed lumbar support & not only does it do a good job with that but it forces me, gently, to sit up straight, which is how we all need to sit. The back also pivots backwards a bit which I love. The seat is very comfortable & does not cut off my circulation at the thighs, as my old chair did, and that is another plus. The lowest setting does well for my table. The rollers are very smooth and do not drag on my floor. I really cannot believe it is priced so low & recommended it already to a few people. So that others may ask I will say that my weight fluctuates between 135 - 142:)

This is a wonderful chair for the price. Assembly was smooth and straightforward. First issue I noticed was that the gas tube guard does not hold itself up at all. To remedy this, I duct tape the top section to the seat bottom. Interestingly, the backrest can be adjusted toward or away from the seat; however, as the title says, it can not be adjusted up nor down. I would like to have the back rest close to me but the bottom half juts into the base of my spine. For future versions, I would suggest the back rest have either height adjustment or cut the bottom third.

Soft seat and comfortable

When I was looking for a chair for my sewing station, I acted like it was the hardest decision of my life. I heavily researched, read reviews, and had about 7 chairs in my “saved for later”. After about 6 weeks I narrowed it down to 3. Mind you, when I purchased my house, I bought the second one I looked at. When I bought my car, I better ugh the first one I saw. Yet the decision to purchase a sewing chair under $75 haunted me. One day I just clicked “proceed to checkout with this beauty in my cart. I have zero regrets! She was so easy to put together, so durable and well made, and comfortable to boot. I’m not a dainty little thing, I’m quite large and yet I don’t suffer crushing anxiety that this chair will collapse beneath me. The fabric is a tweed type fabric that be itchy for those wearing short shorts. I don’t own shorts, so it’s no problem for me. It’s comfortable, affordable, and looks very nice!

This is a small, minimal chair. For the price, it's great. The fabric is two-toned and has a rich, upholstery look. The chair is easy to put together and all you'll need is a screwdriver. The instructions could be better illustrated but we managed fine. The chair back does not lean backwards and there's no ergonomic back structure or adjustments. It only moves up and down in height. It's for people who sit upright and don't need back support or for people who won't be sitting in the chair for a long time. We have one for our kitchen desk and one for our guest room desk. One tip: There's an orange tag on the chair back sewn into a seam. Don't try to cut it off with scissors because you won't get low enough to hide the orange bit completely. You can remove the tag easily with a razor blade. One caution: If you have wood floors, little kids will use the chair as a scooter around the house!

5 stars from a tall, fat guy who could never get comfortable before! The last "task chair" I bought on Amazon was a perfectly good item, except that the arms were too close together so I could not fit my fat backside (or my back fatside, if you prefer). "So just remove the arms" I hear you snidely suggesting in a tone of contempt you reserve for unhelpful product reviewers who you think should just keep their opinions to themselves. Well, I tried taking off the arms, and guess what? The back fell off, so that other chair is now a stool with wheels. Getting back to THIS great little chair, my wife (who weighs about half what I do) was also having discomfort problems with her desk chair, so she "borrowed" this one from me and geuss what? She's keeping it, so now I get to buy another one and assemble it. Summary: WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THIS CHAIR: 1) fast & easy to assemble. No fingers or toes were lost during the assembly of this chair. 2) So comfortable I sat in it for hours without noticing that I do not have a life. 3) Captain and the sackboys report no pain or numbness below decks.

I needed an adjustable chair to use with both a computer desk and an artists' drafting table in my office. It's surprising how expensive many of these chairs are and I primarily purchased this because of its affordability. When it comes to furniture, I definitely prefer "firm" and austere over "plush" but have to admit that I even found the chair a bit harder than I expected when I first sat on it (and moreso than my previous chair). But I got used to it fairly quickly (and I'm someone who needs to sit on this throughout the day for many hours). So in terms of functionality and the adjustable heights, I give this chair high marks. But to be honest, I could see some people finding it too firm or even uncomfortable, so your mileage may vary. I also think larger people might have difficulty with this product, so I would definitely compare seat and back sizes with other products if you are a taller/large person.

Bought this chair to pair with an older model we’ve had for some time. Didn’t want to spend a fortune and based on reviews, picked this manufacturer. So easy to put together, instructions are clear and simple and chair looks good and performs well. We use mostly around our table as we do puzzles....easy to roll and comfy to sit on. Great!

These chairs are great! Comfortable, easy to assemble, nice to look at, and easy to clean. I purchased this to replace the same one that I bought 14 years ago! I rolled around the kitchen while cooking after I had knee surgeries. The lift is just enough so that I could work at the kitchen counter, and to eat I just lowered it to fit my kitchen table..Even after recovery I liked it so much that I continued to use it to this day when I just received the new one.The original chair was inexpensive, but it lasted and lasted. I sat on it everyday to eat, plan meals, so I didn't have to stand while stirring things on the stove, etc. Finally the big plastic screw that holds the back onto the seat would not tighten and the back flopped, but I am heavy and frequently leaned back, so that wasn't the chair's fault. Just a reminder: with constant use and rolling about, the screws that hold it together come loose, so just tighten them once in a while..

For years now I have been trying to find a chair that I could make it through the day on. I am not quite 5' tall and have short legs for my height, so trying to find a chair that my feet touch the ground has been a challenge. This one works for me, it also has good lumbar support. For a taller person it might be too low, but for me it's perfect.

I have been using the chair in my sewing room for a few weeks now and I love it. The reason I ordered it was because it can be adjusted high enough to be used at my cutting table and low enough for my sewing machine table, which the 3 other chairs I have purchased over the last 5 years were unable to do. It is quite comfortable and nice looking as well. UPDATE: May 15/2023 I have now been using this chair for a few months and I still love it. It is really comfortable and rolls easily still, which is saying something, due to the amount of threads from fabric that I get on the floor.
