Great Product for removing adhesive. Works fabulous and doesn't damage the finishes..I spilled a jar of surgical adhesive on my lap and it glued my pants to my thigh. I could barely walk and had to hide from my boss because it was the third time this happened to me in a busy clinic. He had warned me not to let that happen again. I found a bottle of this stuff and went into the ladies room and began the long task of trying to pull my scrubs off of my skin. It was very painful. After about twenty minutes people started knocking on the door because they were suspicious that I glued my pants to my leg again. Then the nightmare began. I heard them outside in the hallway telling the boss that they could smell the Goo from outside. That said it all. They now knew I had spilled glue on myself again. Thank god the Goo worked and by the time I came out of the bathroom with wet scrubs they weren't glued together anymore. However, I did have a noticeable limp and smelled like chemicals for the rest of the day. I was called into the office and written up for "hazardous practices in the work place". Apparently gluing your thigh to your clothes is a violation of some Federal OSHA laws. I of course denied everything as I was always taught by my mother and still work there today. However, they hide the surgical glue from me now and I am not allowed near it. Thank goodness for Goo adhesive removal. It kept me from being fired and I can keep putting food on my table and pay my light bill.

When 3rd rate sellers and manufacturers put stickers on your newly purchased product that leave a sticky residue this will remove it easily. No reason to look at their gaudy advertising on a product you paid for. Pull off the sticker, grab a rag or paper towel and this. No more sticker. No more goo. I can't count the number of containers that I reuse and remove the labels from and this stuff cleans it up. Why get the small bottle when you can get enough to last for a long time? Removing those ads is sweet revenge - I paid for the thing - they didn't pay me to advertise.

This is the product to use when you want to remove a label that has a stubborn adhesive. If you are removing a label from a plastic or wood surface then make certain that you place a very tiny droplet of this liquid on an area that is not visible to see what effect the solvents in this liquid are having on the surface finish such as a paint or lacquer. The solvents in this liquid are unlikely to have an effect on metals, glass, ceramics and most plastics, but test to make certain.

Works on most things easily.

5 stars on the packing. The cap was wrapped up with this great foam tape that came off easily. There was a spot on the seal where you can poke a small hole which will help control the amount you need. I used Goo Gone on glue left behind by a sticker. Scrubbed it with the cotton ball a few minutes after applying. It worked.

Been using this stuff for many years.

I was despairing of finding a way to remove the black adhesive residue that black gaffers tape (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07K1MSGJZ) left on a Berber carpet. I tried many solvents including Goof Off (https://www.amazon.com/Goof-Off-FG653-Professional-Strength/dp/B002MPPYYS) without success. I was pleased to find that Goo Gone did the job very well. It has a pleasant smell that didn't linger after I followed the instructions and washed the area with soap and water. As far as I can tell it didn't damage the carpet at all. 5 stars.

Bought this to remove tape residue - the only thing I’ve tried that does the job.
