Second Review of this amp !!!
This is my second review of this really nice amp. I bought yet another one of these amplifiers as I wanted one for my desktop. It looks and sounds great. As good as any of those smaller units costing two and three times as much. This is Pyle's attempt to go to the next level of smaller amps and they have done just that. I wanted to pass on something to our viewers that's a real find for those of you who want this unit to read usb thumb drives for music.Well, I found out that if you buy a regular short printer/scanner cable and a female to female usb connector and plug your usb music thumb drive into one end and the other into the cable end and plug the entire cable into the back of the amp, it will play your usb music just fine. You will be able to advance the songs back and forth via the use of the Pyle remote. Anyway, I love this amp and you will to.....I also have it connected to a portable cd player for my desk and it to works and sounds great. Oh, bluetooth is good as well.

Remote Range
The range on the remote is limited, only complaint.

Strong Bluetooth
Great Bluetooth receiver with strong reception. Also nice it has rca output of signal. I run it to another Amp powering some outdoor speakers.

Really wanted to love this unit - but unfortunate engineering flaw kills sound quality
Pyle seems to have a category killer here - small, decent remote control, multiple connections, no external DC brick.Unfortunately, there is a flaw in their power supply implementation which creates constant hiss on the speaker outputs. I tried two units in hope that my first one was just defective, but both had the same issue. The noise is very obvious and continues even when the unit is in standby mode (but disappears when the power cord is unplugged). I am not an engineer, but I would assume there is an issue with the grounding or other electrical interference with the audio circuitry. The noise is so egregious that it's hard to believe this was missed in the design phase, so it is likely an issue with the manufacturing. There is a big QC sticker on the underside, but clearly they are not properly testing these units off the assembly line.If they can fix this problem, there are many great things to recommend about the unit, including the fact that it remembers the last source when power cycling (many competitors don't). Unfortunately, it is unusable in it's current state.

It's a no for me.
I was hoping for a decent amp for a simple two channel setup, nothing extravagant, just something functional.I plugged in my speakers, turned on the amp, and the first thing that hit me was the noise floor. The noise floor on this amp is EXTREMELY high, and by that I mean regardless of the volume, if the amp is on there is a loud hissing sound being output from the speakers. This noise remains present during music playback and is highly distracting. I can't accept that, even at this price.Aside from that, the included remote didn't work at all with the included batteries. That's alright, I replaced the batteries; no sweat. But even with a fresh pair of AAA's the remote is spotty. Every other input from the remote goes unnoticed by the amp and I was seated about 4 feet away from the amp.I really hate to leave negative reviews. Maybe I got a bad apple, but unfortunately I can not recommend this amp. Sad face.

meh....high pitched noice
I had a fosi that blew up after a few months so I thought I'd get a pyle. It seemed to work fine for a few months but after moving I continuously get an annoying high pitch hum to the speakers, this is only happening when audio is being processed and is definitely not a source related issue. It still works ok, I can't hear the noise when listening to music, but anytime there is no audio output, it hums until something internal cuts off the signal. The volume knob is terrible, you have to spin it dozens of time to change the volume

Decent amp for
Exactly what I needed, a small amp with basic controls and a remote. I was surprised that this was a harder combination to find than I expected. This product checked all the boxes and has a longer warranty than most. My use is with a TV that only has line level outputs, which is why I needed the remote. The TV's internal speakers sounded like a tin can but with this amp and some small book shelf speakers, it now fills the room with better sound than I expected. Couldn't be happier.

A Charles Atlas amp, and a 99-pound weakling of a remote
The amp is awesome; the remote? Not so much. The functional range for the remote is approximately 8 feet. What's tricky is that some necessary functions - like Bluetooth pairing - are only available *on* the remote.
