Over the years I've opened cans with everything from dull pocket knives to p38.Can openers I always thought were pretty much all the same you either get the kind you squeeze or you get an electric can opener.This one however is a game changer especially for an old fellow like me with a tinge of arthritis in both hands it's very easy to hold grip clamp and you don't have to squeeze! The sharp blade and easy to spin handle are also kind to my fingers. Appears to be a decent quality I see no manufacturing flaws it should last for many years thank you

I really like this can opener. You just put it on the can and press the handles closed. It will lock in place. Just turn the knob until the lid is almost(but not completely) separated from the can and then press the silver button to release the handles. Leaving a little of the lid attached keeps it from dropping into the can, if that annoys you as much as it does me. It also makes the lid pop up the slightest bit, making it easier to grasp and pull back. That said, it only helps on one hand. You don't have to press on the handles to keep the opener on the can, but you do still have to use the other hand to turn it. If you're opening lots of cans, it will still strain the turning hand. Still, it has greatly reduced the strain of opening cans for me, overall, and I've found it pleasant to use. It has appeared durable so far and I'm pleased with it.

Feels like it wont last long, the locking is ok, but no magnet makes this a loser.

This brand has made quality products for a very long time, and this version is no exception. It fits any sized hand and is a breeze to operate. My wife has had a little trouble gripping the larger, slightly thicker cans for a few years now. This opener works with efficient ease and has done so without exception, even on items with slightly bent edges. We're very pleased.

I'm happy to finally find a can opener that works well. You squeeze a button to unlock the opener and then you squeeze the handle to attach it to the can. It doesn't take a lot of strength to turn the handle. Overall, I'm happy with it.
