Refreshing Water with a Crisp Taste, though the App Needs Reconsideration
I recently decided to try the GOFILTR Alkaline Water Filter Infusers, and I must say, the product has largely lived up to its promises. Adding this to my water bottle or pitcher has transformed my hydration experience, leaving a noticeably crisp taste that feels quite refreshing. A small ritual I have adopted is letting the water sit for about 15-20 minutes and giving it a little shake to allow the filter to work its magic effectively. This seems to be the sweet spot for achieving that perfect alkalinity and infusion of electrolytes into the water. However, I have mixed feelings about the accompanying app. While it aims to complement the product, it feels somewhat unnecessary, taking up phone space and requiring access to personal data, which I find slightly invasive. I wish the app was more streamlined or perhaps optional for users who prefer a simple and direct approach to water filtration. As for the lifespan of the filters, I am planning to change them every three months, which seems like a reasonable duration to maintain the freshness and efficacy of the filtration process. While there are other brands available at a slightly lower price point with favorable reviews, the GOFILTR has managed to hold its ground in terms of quality and performance thus far. In summary, I find this to be a competent product that delivers on its promise of transforming regular water into a refreshing and healthy beverage. I look forward to continued use and hope it maintains its efficiency in the long run.

Won't be without them!
I'm a convert. I drink 8-10 bottle of water a day, and alkaline water was recommended to me by a friend. I had heartburn every day before starting this. Less than 3 days into this, it was gone. I had received a 3-pack of Acidil the day before I got these cartridges. I haven't touched those at all. I can't tell you any other tangible benefits, but that alone is enough for me. We seem to feel pretty good doing this, and the cartridges fit perfectly into our stainless steel water bottles. They sink to the bottom and they aren't in your way at all. I highly recommend these!

Plastic Taste to the Water. Must Prep Filter for 1 hour before it alkalizes in 15 mins
I usually do not make the time to write a review. I purchased two filters. Each new filter took one hour in the water to produce a pH greater than 7 - it actually produced a pH of 10. So, the filter did work to alkalize, however it needed to be prepared for one hour initially before it produced alkaline water in 15 minutes as it claims to. I tested the water at 15 minute intervals. Starting pH of water = 5. New filter after rinsing as directed: after 15 minutes = remains at pH 5; after 30 mins =pH 6; after 45 mins =ph 7; after 1 hour = pH10. I then tested the filter a second time with these results: after 15 mins =pH8; after 30 mis = pH10. For the best results, allow the new filter to "break in" by leaving it in water for one hour after the initial rinsing as described in the directions. I STOPPED USING THE FILTERS on the first day. Both my 9 year old son and I could taste the material that makes up the housing. It was distinct. I had this concern prior to purchasing but was willing to try due to the benefits of alkaline water on the go. We alkalize our water regularly however if you are out with a flask, over the course of the day the water loses its alkalinity. We having been drinking alkalized water for years so the taste produced by these filters has nothing to do with the alkalinity of the water. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE FILTERS. I hope this is helpful to you. Enjoy this beautiful day!!!

Surprised
I am not sure on the ph level because I do not have a way to measure it but I will say this, I received it yesterday and started using it the same day. I noticed that my energy level was higher then before I started to drink the alkaline water. To add proof my husband started drinking from my bottle and he also saw an increment in energy. It was so easy to set up and start drinking. I would recommend this product if any changes I will let you all know.

They work!
I love these! They last for there months and I can drop them in virtually any container and they work. I had the small travel size but it was driving me crazy because I could only use in a 16 oz bottle or smaller. Well, I drink over 100 oz of water a day! There is no funny taste or discoloration either!

9.5 alkaline water better for heartburn
Did not realize the ph balance in our hard water. Used these filters to raise the alkaline in the water. Easier on the stomach

Addicted!
It's only been a couple months, but the taste of the water is so good. I haven't checked to see what the PH is, but worth it for taste and convenience.

Sulfur smell (similar to bad eggs)
I use an aquatru water purifier, and I have a TDS meter as well as a PH meter I use on my water regularly. I bought a brand new glass water bottle which I opened and used in testing this gofiltr. I also tested the water after 15 minutes in other clean glass jars and bowls to be sure of my findings. My water 100% does smell of sulfur when using this gofiltr, so if that bothers you, probably don’t buy this product. I’ve read that the smell is a byproduct of mixing what’s in these filters with water (pungency dependent on what’s in your water before using the filter) and that it’s not harmful, but do your own research on this. I live in Salt Lake City, for reference (tap water not great to begin with here). I say “what’s in these filters” because I got the same effect when using a similar product made by Invigorated Water. This gofiltr product did bring my water PH from a 6.5 to a 8.5, so that was great. Overall, pretty decent product, but I don’t like having the plastic in my water or the odor it produces. Wish they would allow returns.
