My beloved Vans had been sitting in a closet and were INFESTED with stains from the mould. When I tried to wash them off, the dark paint from the front of the shoe bled into all the white fabric and they looked even worse. I bought this paint and a set of brushes with not much hope that it would work but, guess what, they look brand new! The process took about a day where I would paint it over once, leave it to air dry and do another layer, to a total of three layers of paint (used just under half of this pot). The paint dries surprisingly fast too! Afterwards, I sprayed the shoes with Nikwax (waterproof coating) and I can now use them again! A 1oz bottle in a single base coat can cover a good amount of surface area, however it may wear off in time. Applying multiple coats as well as using an acrylic finisher can help extend the durability of the paint. The best bet is to try out 1 bottle on your project and see if it is enough.
