Previously, when looking for purple shoelaces, I could only find the wide, flat kind, and they were usually too short, not too mention more lavender in color. I needed to match the round kind as came with my shoes. The purple color of these shoelaces is great; they are a good true purple (not too blue or too red), and neither too dark or too pastel. I bought two pairs of the 54", and they fit my standard sneakers just fine. The length worked perfectly without being too long or too short. I would readily buy more purple, or other colors as I might want/need again from this company. Service was great, and the laces seem to be of a very good quality. As far as durability, I will assume they are as good as what most shoes come with to begin with. I have a knack of tying my shoes just right, allowing me to slip them on-and-off easily without constantly tying and untying. When you have a broken back and sore hip, tricks like that help the body and keep the laces lasting longer!(In preparing my review, I was asked if the width of the shoes fit and did they provide good arch support. I bought laces, not shoes!)

The color was spot on and exactly what I wanted. The description of what type of laces was not really clear so I didn't get exactly what I wanted there. I was expecting some thicker, more durable feeling laces but that's not what they are. I'll keep them just since I refuse to go to the local shoe store and pay $10 for neon Nike laces but I will shop around more next time. I don't see these standing up to being on a track photographing cars all summer. I do have to be on my toes and I think they will get over flexed and break.

They will work for what I need and they were a very affordable price. However, they are very thin (think dress shoes) and I was using them for my little boy's hiking boots. They will do the trick however because kids outgrow stuff before it really wears out. I read some reviews that said the tips of the laces were white. Mine were not. They were clear plastic and you don't even notice them. Glad I got them, would order again.

I think they are meant for boots, but I bought them for a pair of tennis shues that are designed for round strings. The rough texture means they tend to stay tied better than many round strings I've used. The stretchy material also helps with this, but only if you pull the strings tight when tying them. otherwise they will come untied rather easily.

I needed 54-inch laces for my Size 11 4E-wide ASICS, so I thought I'd try these because they were the least expensive laces I found. The length is fine, but these laces are so thin that they ruin the aesthetics of the shoe. They work, but they look ugly. They are much too thin. I bought five (5) different colors to eliminate the need to pay shipping. I'm keeping them because it would cost too much to return them. I looked at price too much and not enough at quality. I do not recommend these laces at all. If you want to try them, I suggest you buy only one pair to see how they look. Don't make the mistake I made to buy enough to avoid the shipping charge. Then, if you, as I did, decide they are too skinny to look good, you will be able to return them economically. I should have known that you get what you pay for!

It's a shoelace! Color was nice and accurate. The tip of the shoelace was white, which was unexpected and a little annoying but I colored it in with Sharpie to make it black. The shoelace is a knitted rope—the kind of shoelace of a tennis sneaker/ running shoe. It is not like the more cloth-like laces on converse.

The grey shoestrings were slightly darker than expected and not as sturdy as one might expect for this style of laces. Yet, buying them online sure beats running all over town! I am reasonably pleased with the purchase and would likely order from this seller, again. There was a slight lag in delivery time compared to other sellers.

They weren't quite as long as the shoelaces that came with my walking shoes and they are stretchy so you have to pull them tight and they end up too tight. The color was much darker than I expected so they didn't quite match the turquoise on my shoes. They are nice enough.
