I like it! The flavour is between Planter's peanut oil and peanut butter.
if the flavor strength of peanut butter is 10 on a scale of 1-10, and Planter's peanut oil is a 1, then this oil would be about 4-5. It is not filtered and some sediment of very finely crushed peanuts, about 1/2 inch, sinks to the bottom. Shake the bottle. It adds to this oil's unique flavor. Unique means (the only one of it's kind), and the flavor of this oil is unique. People on other websites claim that there is a light smoky flavor. Taste is subjective, but I didn't detect a smoky flavor. I like peanut oil for cooking Asian food and have tried several brands. Planters is too light and has practically no peanut taste at all. I found some pretty good peanut oils at Asian grocery stores. They actually have Asian writing on the label and a picture of a peanut so that we Americans' know what it is. Those oils are good too, but not as good as this product. I like to put a teaspoon on my Chinese soups to give it body and impart that Chinese cuisine flavor we are all familiar with in Asian restaurants. It's good for making popcorn too!

Great foavour
This is a good oil, smells delicious and you can cook anything with it. My husband does. I recomend it to anyone that needs an array of oils in their house and they don't want a gallon of each. At the time I orderd I couldn't find it in stores in smaller bottles but soon after I was able too. I will try the ones in the store also, they were cheaper so I want to give them a shot. Only if I don't like them I will buy this again.

Cheap Plastic Bottle
I was very disappointed to receive this in a cheap plastic bottle. I had used the "Ask a Question" feature on Amazon to query other customers as to whether the bottle was plastic or glass, and 7 people answered. Five said it was glass and two said it was plastic, so I took a chance and ordered it. This is a lot of money to pay for oil in a plastic bottle, which I could have easily gotten at the grocery store. The oil is a dark amber color, and I assume it will be flavorful, but I intend to keep it in the fridge, which means it has to go in the microwave to melt before I use it. I don't think it's very healthful to eat food out of plastic containers, especially food that has been heated in the container.
B**!
Never had such a tastefully delicious peanut oil ! Ever ! Also !!!,get it cheaper (-$3) right here on Amazon, compare prices !
Now if you are a connaiseur, well I'll stop right here.If you are not, this oil is what peanut oil tested like many decades ago, full of flavors!Unfiltered (naturally cloudy) 0% of the following: cholesterol, sodium, carbohydrate & 0 g of sugar or protein. All natural & additives free. This oil along with a great unfiltered red wine vinegar, any great sea salt loaded with minerals (such as "Guerande grey" also from Amazon), touch of fresh lemon juice, fresh chopped parsley and freshly ground pepper will make an original VINAIGRETTE (thinly chopped shallots optional) .... Enjoy on plain Boston/butter lettuce or any other form of your favorite mixed greens ... salads ...

seeped during shipment
This is a nice oil. I docked it a star because the cap was a little loose and it had seeped during shipment. It is a beautiful oil with good flavor. Whoever over wraps it for shipment should check the cap tight.JimUpdate August 17, 2015I ordered more and it came throuh fine.Jim

okay
I love peanuts and peanut butter but somehow did noy enjoy the smell/flavor of this oil.I bought it to make stovetop popcorn but it did not improve my popping results or flavor so I'll be going back to olive oil. To be fair, I did not use this oil for any other cooking.

UNREFINED means lower smoke temperature
I bought this peanut oil for seasoning my cast iron products. I have been using it for about a month now and after doing some research it occurred to me that this peanut oil (tho awesome) is not your best choice for high temperature frying and/or seasoning. This peanut oil has a smoke temperature of about 390° while refined (and ultimately less healthy) peanut oil has a smoke temperature of approximately 450°. So if you are seasoning cast iron i would recommend a refined oil not this. I would absolutely recommend this for cooking with though.

expensive
The product is good, but way too expensive for my taste. It smells just like peanut butter, and cooks well. I think it would be better on a salad than frying .

Smells divine
I haven't actually used it to cook with/eat. I was recommended to buy this for oiling the grill bars on my new barbecue. It has done a great job for the purpose I bought it for and although pricey is lasting a long time for me. It smells delicious both in the bottle and when cooking off on the barbecue.Needs a good shake before using as the peanut sediment does settle at the bottom.
