Great pair of boots. Very comfortable
Let me first give you some background. I have fallen arches and very flat feet. So, when it comes to buying footwear I am very particular and need something comfortable. Before I purchased these Carhartts I purchased and returned three different pairs of boots. Dickies moc toe. Timberland barstow moc toe. And then a pair of these Carhartts that we're a little too snug. The last purchase was a mistake because I knew typically I wear a 10.5 but the store didn't have any in stock and I thought they might stretch.Comfort: fit like a glove. Removable insoles, if you happen to wear an orthotic they slip right underneath. I have walked only a few miles I'm these but so far they feel great. These actually feel more like a shoe than some other pairs I have tried. Partially due from the wedge designed sole with no heel, so to speak.Quality: the leather looks and feels way better than both the Dickies moc toe and timberland. These will be worn with dressier clothes, corduroy and nice jeans in paticular.I will update this review after I get more wear out of these. Looks like the contruction is quality but only time will tell.

Carried me thousands of miles
After two years, three continents and literally thousands of miles - I'm a little sad to put the old pair into retirement.with a little thicker leather and soles, these boots might have lasted another year. I considered getting them resoled but at this price point it makes sense to just get a new pair and save the old for an emergency bag... I do have to say these were always very comfortable and stood up well to the punishment I put them through. Considering the price compared to red wings that might have lasted longer I was quite pleased with this purchase.

I am very disappointed that these boots do not fit
I am very disappointed that these boots do not fit. I ordered the wide and they are narrow and tight. The boots look like a very good quality for the money, but after trying to wear them in the house I had to take them off after about 15 minutes because of the discomfort. I would like to try again, but because of my wide feet I will try a local place and try on boots. I only wish Carhartt offered a other wide shoe options, I don't really think their wide is a true 2E. I gave them 3 stars because of the quality of construction. Good luck.

Amazing Comfort and Support at a Great Price!
I was looking for a boot similar in style to the Red Wing Heritage boot without the crazy price tag. Not only are these cheaper but they are incredibly comfortable. The boot feels like another sock, the inner lining is just enough cushion while being firm and supportive. I am adding a more supportive insole but thats just for my specific feet. I would highly recommend these to anyone who has to wear work boots all day, they look and feel great!

Hands down the best pair of boots I've ever owned - 4/5
Pros:- look is unbeatable; moc-toe, darker tan leather, white wedge bottom, lace up is exactly what I was looking for- comfortable; the leather is soft and forms to your ankle and foot shape after being broken in. Enough room for two pairs of socks comfortably (after being broken in)- warm; absolutely ideal for northern climates; fully laced and double-socked it is fit for sub-zero weather (as I've tested it out)Cons:- scuffs easily; the leather is soft and is easily scratched, especially on the inside of the toe box where the shoes rub against one another.Overall a very solid purchase, if not one of the most valuable shoe purchase I've ever made.***NOTE: the term "Work Boot" in the title is the style, not the function! As I mention above, the leather is soft, and not meant for hardy outdoor or workfloor wear.

Nice but Cheaply made
Pros: they are very waterproof I have been in some deep water and my feet never got wet. They break in very quickly and easily. By the end of the first day of wearing them they were broken in. They are very comfortable to wear.Cons: they break in very easy because the material is very weak. I work in construction and if my shoes touch any kind of metal the leather rips. After 7 months of use there is no tread on the bottom. I went through the shoe laces is came with in 2 months. I am now on my 3rd set of laces. The negatives outweigh the positives for what I need the boots for.

Great pair of boots!
I wear a 10EE or a 12D boot and these in 12D fit great. They are incredibly comfortable. I am excited to wear these boots for years to come. I would recommend these to anybody looking for a nice pair of lace up boots.

I do not recommend these boots if u actually half to work for ...
I am in the masonry trade, and I had these boots for exactly 3 month's, ill put it this way the shoe laces outlasted the boots. Holes r developing in the toes there is no tread left at all on the soles and one of the boots has starting to tear on the inside, I do not recommend these boots if u actually half to work for a living
