Hilarious!
I love this film; It was a TV find a few years back, I'd never heard of it before or been aware of it as a cinema release. The lead, Dane Cook's 'Zack' is a bit shallow, but Dax Shepard and Efren Ramirez's character's unusual pairing, and the actor's comic timing make this film a gem.

Big Fish Fighting in a Small Pond
If you take Employee of the Month TOO seriously you won't get it. If you haven't worked with someone like Vince (Dax Shepherd) you might not get it. If you are a Vince, you REALLY will not get it.Set in one of those bulk buy warehouse emporiums in the States (think Macro over here)it's the basic story of loafer Zack trying to get the Employee of the Month award so that he can go out with Jessica Simpson, the new cashier. Trouble lies with the fact he has to beat Vince who has won it every month and will stop at nothing to win the top prize for this month - a new car.All good fun, Jessica Simpson actually turning in good performance and the two leads showing why they are always watchable.A very very funny Blooper reel in the extras.Well worth adding to your collection.

Well, not for me. It was entertaining enough in a very shallow and predictable manner, but fun non the less!

Perhaps my favourite Dane Cook Movie. It's nothing to scream and shout about but I did get some fantastic laughs from this movie back in the day! Would recommend, silly humour and has some golden moments.

Employee of the Month DVD
Dane Cook, Jessica Simpson and Dax Shepard head a great cast in a VERY funny movie. A slacker works at a Super Club store that is like a Costco or Sams. A new cashier (Simpson) starts and the slacker and the robot like super employee go head to head in a fight for her. She has a thing for employee's of the month. So that's how it will be decided. The slacker vs the super employee. Lots of stars before super stardom are in this.

Not perfect, but a stand out movie nevertheless
Really good movie. It has a good storyline, it is well made, it has a lot of funny moments, well known actors, and romance. I liked it back in 2006 or so when it was new, and I still like it to this day. I find some of the humor to be kind of dumb to be honest and at times it felt uncomfortable watching it with my mom. It isn't the most family friendly or funniest movie at times, but overall it is a good movie in my opinion.

Hilarious Movie....A definate Must See
This is a great movie with an amazing cast. Dane Cook, Jessica Simpson, Sax Shepard. They just work so well together to make a really funny great movie.Dad Shepard plays the concieted errogant guy, he does whatever he can o sabotage anyone who gets in his way of becoming employee of the month.Jessica Simpson plays the beautiful buxom blonde beauty queen every man wants to date, but what they find out is that she only likes to date the employee of the month.Dane Cook plays the typical slacker at work, does just what he has to, to get through the day at work, but after meeting the beauty queen everything changes. Once he learns she only wants to date the employee of the month, then he decides to do whatever it takes to become the next employee of the month.The hijinks ensue. This movie will keep you laughing. Its a great movie to just sit down and help you relax after a long week. You will be less tense and able to have a great weekend after watching this movie and laughing your butt off

My friend laughed on his death bed.
My friend was dying of cancer and needed something to keep him in good spirits. I asked who his favorite comedian was and his x-girlfriend said Dane Cook, so I sent him Vicious Circle and Employee of the Month. Dane became an Angel and Mikey Mike went on to the great wide open a couple of weeks ago. Thank God for humor.

Good, but not as funny as the first time I watched it
The first time I saw this I thought it was juvenile, but still extremely funny. I bought the Blu-Ray only to realize that it has less replay value than I thought. It's still enjoyable, but not as laugh-out-loud funny as the first time. It doesn't have the cult quality of Office Space either. If you have the DVD, I probably wouldn't upgrade.
