Quando si ha necessità di un hub usb, sopratutto per collegare degli hard disk esterni, meglio evitare prodotti anonimi e troppo economici e invece spendere un po' di più per non rischiare danni! Inoltre, è necessario che l'hub abbia un alimentatore esterno, altrimenti non sarebbe in grado di fornire corrente sufficiente agli hard disk (a meno che questi ultimi non siano autoalimentati), che finirebbero per disconnettersi improvvisamente e alla lunga di danneggiarsi. Detto ciò, ho scelto questo prodotto perché di marca affidabile. È piccolo, leggero, le porte ben distanziate l'una dall'altra. Peccato per la mancanza di interruttori, ma pazienza. In aggiunta ho comprato un cavo USB C per collegarlo alla porta USB C, e una piccola prolunga visto che il cavo dell'alimentatore è un po' corto (circa 1m). Infine un paio di consigli, trovati sul sito ufficiale Microsoft. È buona norma prima disconnettere l'hard disk e quindi scollegare prima il cavo usb e poi la spina. Qualora il pc non riesca a sganciare l'hard disk, anche se sono stati chiusi tutti i programmi che lo usavano, basta terminare il processo explorer.exe da gestione attività (poi lo si può riavviare).
