It has a very pleasant taste that most tea drinkers will enjoy. Review: Don't Smell It Prior To Brewing - I love tea...so much, but the tannens make me so sick. Rooibos has far less age no caffeine and this stuff is delicious. Thing is, I tried while I had the flu for the first time since 1990 and couldn't smell. I liked it so much I bought some and the first smell of the bags in the carton... horrible... concerning... suspect. I was reminded by my husband that I couldn't smell so brew it and see. I'm so glad I did. It's cinnamon-y, apple-y, with subtle fruit flavors that are bright but you can't quite put your finger on it. It's good cold, excellent hot, tasty sweetened or not and best of all its not even slightly bitter. It's really pretty me drink "tea" again. I would change the bag strings. I don't like the plastic and I keep little scissors next to my kettle just to cut it and be done. Perhaps my long time love with Celestial Seasonings which is down the street from me mashed me appreciate stringless bags, but why bother with them if you're not making a whole pot. The only other downside is the price.
