In addition to wood trimming, I used it for sanding, and it did an excellent job. The sanding attachment is easy to swap out. Really useful tool, wish bought it a long time ago, as I already have the batteries for other Einhell products.

I took the plunge on an Einhell again because I’ve recently bought a lot of their tools to replace older Makita and Bosch corded versions. I have to say, I’m extremely impressed with the quality and durability of their products. They are heavier than cheaper versions, indicating that they are made from quality materials but the size and fit to hand isn’t bulky. One of the biggest bonuses is that the batteries are interchangeable across multiple tools. I chose the 5.5 Ah power range along with the smaller 2 Ah which both charge extremely fast and last for ages. I cannot recommend Einhell enough. A professional tool at a DIY price.

Has performed hours of intensive work. After half a year it suddenly stopped working but when I opened up the case it worked, then closed the case again it stopped. It turned out the grease around its spinning mechanism had over many hours gradually accumulated in the wrong areas, and once it was redistributed it started up fine again. Opening its case is simple, with just about 8-10 screws which are all the same size. Take a photo as open the casing in case anything drops out so you know how it goes together again. Grease needs distributed to pretty much every area in the top third if yours, like mine, suddenly stops running.

What an amazing tool to have! Great battery life, you can use einhell battery with it so if you have a einhell product already it’s a win win. It’s a tool I never knew I needed, only downside is sometimes the bolt that holds the blade on will come loose, so keep an eye on it

Always used Einhell when I was on the tools. Due to disability, I stupidly sold my entire selection ( bench saw to sander). Needed a multitool for a small job so ordered this. Hopefully it was a defective unit as it worked for 2 minutes then stopped. Unfortunately ( due to my disability) I didn’t get round to the job until after the return policy. Gutted

I've used it to cut wood, remove grout between tiles and to cut drywall. With dimond bits it works great on grout. Doesn't do anything to tiles. If you need to cut tiles get an angle grinder with a dimond piece. If you're going to cut tiles get a proper respirator mask. The supplied normal serated blades cut through drywall very well. Makes a lot of dust of course. I also used the serated blades to cut wood. I could cut through skirting boards but it's hard to cut in a straight line in. The blade gets super hot cutting wood so if you don't keep periodically dipping the blade in water, the wood will burn and smoke. You'd need a gas mask for this kind of smoke. Or just keep it cool, have patience and dip the blade in water over and over. I wouldn't call this a precision tool but if you made a guide you might be able to do some precise stuff. At least the cuts are a lot cleaner than my jigsaw.
