C 9 CEN II

Great Center Speaker. Part of my home entertainment system with my other Jamo II C Series speakers. I did receive the unit with a damaged corner probably due to shipping, but they replaced immediately. Like took 2 days to do the return. Fast and Easy. Setup of the speaker was plug and play basically. No issues with quality. Sounds great for the price.

This replaced a Klipsch C-200, as I thought I sounded hollow, tinny, and a bit too bright. If anyone is looking to pair this with the Jamo S8 series, I highly recommend. I say this because most reviews focus on how it pairs with the C9 series, and I hadn’t seen any on how it pairs with S8 (specifically the S803’s). Pretty seamless from left to right, with excellent sound quality.

First I bought the bookshelfs, c93 ii, on sale for about $320 a pair, so when this center channel went on sale for $189 I couldn't pass it up. I'm replacing my def tech bp8s and clr 1000 with these jamos, for awhile atleast. I'm definitely impressed with this setup especially for the price. Get these on a decent sale and you will not be sad.

I bought this speaker to replace a 15+year old klipsch center channel that was rated for 50w max. I had recently upgraded my receiver to a 7.2 channel denon rated at 100x7 rms.l and as such was overdriving the klipsch.The ratings on this Jamo were a perfect match to my receiver and I was anticipating that it would be a good complement to the Jamo 809s I just put in(which are great by the way)It was not. After running the Audyssey setup and turning on Xeq/dynamic eq, the sound from this speaker was muddy. A significant downgrade from the 15 year old klipsch. Maybe I got a bum unit and the center tweeter wasn’t working, but this speaker sounded like I was listening to it with a pillow in front of it.I may have been able to manually eq some highs into it, but I shouldn’t have to not use all of the room correction and sound balancing features on my avr to get some treble out of my center channel.Item returned.

La compré junto con las C95 II para tener el mismo timbre en la parte frontal, tiene mucho detalle y tiende a ser más brillante que por ejemplo Sony o Yamaha, ofrece diogos muy claros, las voces pueden detallar la forma de habla como pronunciar mucho las Ss, a altos volúmenes conviene bajar el treble, con la rejilla dan muy buena estética. Recomendable!
