You think you've eaten butter? Not until you've tried french butter. Way yum. I reserve this butter for situations where its taste is front and center -- toast, crumpets, fried eggs, etc. For general cooking purposes I use regular unsalted butter. But keep this around for special uses. It's gooooood.

Yes brother is amazingly tasteful. However, it is expensive so I will let you order it when I want to give myself a big treat!

In all fairness, my taste buds at 76 are not all that discerning, but I found this butter to be no better, no worse than the Costco Kirkland brand.

This butter is truly amazing. I recently traveled to Europe and discovered that France has the best butter I have ever tasted. In an effort to find similar butter in the USA, I opted to pay the $22.00 for this 8 ounces of butter. Yes, French butter is that good. However, in the description it states that this item is perishable and must be shipped FedEx overnight, chilled. This was not the case for my shipment. The freezer packing was thoroughly thawed and my butter was softer than it would’ve been at room temperature, but not melted. Great tasting butter!!! However, for $44.00/pound, I would expect it to arrive in a colder condition.

So much flavor typically found in European and Japanese (Hokkaido) butter. I was looking for this for years.

Took forever to arrive. I think it came from France. When it arrived the dry ice was completely melted and the butter was room temperature. I would advise you not to purchase this product.

In France 83 % milk fat is required by law. This one's only 80%. Tastes ok but not worth the heavy price.
