GoPro Float Strap (2-Pack) – Waterproof Wrist Lanyard for Underwater Camera, Insta360, DJI Action, Fujifilm XT5 - Canon Accessories & Pool Floats

I just bought two more of these in anticipation of a bioluminescence kayak outing where I'll need to bring a couple of waterproof but non-floating flashlights I'd like not to lose in the Atlantic ocean. They float a lot of weight - one floated my chunky Fujifilm XP80 just fine on a trip to the Keys, and smartly detach with squeeze clip so you can set them aside without untying them when you don't need the flotation or the bulk.The new set even came with a nice non-floating wrist strap than can be attached to the same fitting, so you can snap them on and off and have a "normal" or flotation strap on your device without untying anything -- very smart.They also look great and so far seem quite durable -- the sun and saltwater of a week of paddling in the Keys did zero damage to the first one, which is something considering the same conditions ruined a deck bag and two snorkel bags.Five stars -- exactly what we needed, at a great price.

We bought these for a digital camera that we are giving our son for his birthday and there is no way the camera will ever sink with these floats. The cord is heavy duty and should easily last through several season of use without worry on the lake or river. The fabric is very comfortable on the wrist and the bright colors make it easy to spot. My only suggestion for improvement is the wrist size and maybe I don't know how to properly adjust them to be smaller. I am over 6' tall and the straps are perfect for my wrist, but for my son they are over sized and could fall off if you aren't careful. Just something to be aware of if children are using them.

My last phone sacrificed itself when a spider attacked me on a kayak trip. Even if it had a waterproof case on, it sunk like a rock to the bottom of a deep river. I looked everywhere for a phone case for a Galaxy S5, and I guess case makers are phone-ist and only make cool cases for iphones! Luckily I found these fantastic floating camera straps. They attatch really easily to the case on my new phone. My phone weights 7.5 ounces and each one of these can hold up to 7 ounces, so I put both of them on just to be safe. I have not tested them with my phone but I will be testing their buoyancy on something of a similar weight. But having the 2-pack gives me such a peace of mind and the bright colors are awesome because they're so easy to see.I'm really happy with this purchase and I'm honestly happy there aren't "lifejacket" cases for my phone because I can loop a strap around my wrist and carry my phone easier.

Does not float an iPhone 12 Pro, which is no heavier than my camera. Sure, it’s not designed specifically for a phone, but it’s just not very buoyant.

Used both floats one on the GoPro the other on the suction cup mount on the kayak. Didn't have the mount fastened well and sure enough the whole setup fell in the lake. No, problem was able to just reach in and retrieve the setup.

I paddleboard in Lake Tahoe and mount a GoPro with suction cups on the front of the board and carry my phone (iPhone 4s) to control the GoPro. I have intentionally dropped my phone in its LifeProof case in the water to test the flotation, it bobbed up to where the float was at least 1/3 above the surface. I unintentionally dropped the GoPro attached to the Smatree suction cup mount, which is relatively heavy, into the water, and the float kept the camera and mount from sinking. I also really like the non-floating wrist strap that came with the set so I can switch out the strap on my phone and not have to either take the thin string off and rethread every time or always have a big float wriststrap attached to it.

These are an excellent product. We bought these for our new Olympus TG-860 camera to use on our anniversary trip to Maui. The product was exactly as described. We received both floats, and Nordic Flash even included a standard wrist strap with a cinch that wasn't in the description. All straps were of very high quality material. The clips are strong and unlikely to come undone unintentionally. For snorkeling, we used the standard strap and one of the floats. I tested the float in shallow water before taking it out into the ocean; it worked great. I didn't test it in the ocean. :) I would highly recommend these for use with waterproof cameras. Heavier cameras may need both floats instead of just one.

WE have lost a fish measurer in the lake recently, so we decided to see if the Nordic camera float would do the trick to keep from losing our device and it works great! Very well made product! Our measurer weighs close to a pound, and the float has no problem holding it up!

My 12 year old got these and a lightweight camera to use in the sea for our recent holiday. By day 4, one float had badly frayed and the other snapped. They actual float worked well but are now unusable as the design does not allow me to thread another string on to it. Exceptionally disappointing purchase and not fit for purpose.

Great just what I wanted and seem easy to use. Not tested them in water with camera yet and will follow advice to test in shallow water first.I've now tried out the floats snorkeling in the Galapagos! I used both together just in case 1 failed. No worries at all! Both floats kept the camera afloat easily. The floats were comfortable to wear and seemed really secure on my wrist. I have made sure to rinse them in fresh water following each day in the sea. Hopefully they will last a long time. A great product I am really happy to have bought. Thanks.

I used my float for the first time in Corfu, I checked it worked in shallow water. It worked well and half the float was above the surface. I used the orange one and it was very easy to see in the sea. I then used it in the very deep water and it was fine. Very pleased with the results.

Useful item felt with my iPhone X whilst paddle boarding just fine.
