Review: Bright, well made. - You don't have to completely remove the screws to replace the batteries, just turn them out a little, then pull up the lid. Great design, the lid fits inside the "box" which holds all the components, an O-ring on the lid keeps it sealed. Buttons are easy to operate. Good having a flashlight on opposite side of the hook, can hang it like a lantern. I will probably get more for gifts. I like that there’s a separate on and off button and mode button for the flash pattern. Whatever flash pattern you pick, it stay on that mode even if you turn it on and off, so you don’t have to cycle through the rest of them. The white light is much brighter w/o the blue hue. I took one star off because when I received the package, all came with the battery installed and all of them were dead. In conclusion, I recommend buying as an emergency road flare. They are brighter and more noticeable.
