LEGO The Hobbit - PlayStation 3

By far one if the best lego games i ever played its amazing so cool very good i recomend this master piece to any one who loves legos and hobbit ull love the story characters and cusromization far better than its oredasessor lord of thr rings the sword fights r epic but u have to rely on forged and found items and dkc if u have it as weapons for ur custom characters kuz unlike the lord if the rings it dosent give u the option to select a weapon when u make ur character but other thwn thst i have no complaint thats the only flaw other than that i cant complaint to remedy this jjst download the add on weapons and character and quewt pack from play station network over all very good game for kids and kids at heart

Lego does such a good job with these games. If you've played any other Lego game (Star Wars, Harry Potter, LoTR, etc.) then you should know exactly what you're going to get with this one. It follows the movie, adds humor, and is a lot of fun. I really like how they continue to include movie dialog. And after all, there's just something satisfying about destroying everything an collecting those studs! My only issue is that with all of the dwarfs, it's hard to remember which ones have which specific abilities. Overall, though, another well done game.

Very fun game. had all the other games on the Wii but had to switch to PS3 because apparently no one else uses a regular Wii anymore. But I like playing it on the PS3 better. It is a fun game and one of the best Lego games yet. More building of legos on the game, which the game requires you to collect pieces, but it is fun. Great addition and characters now look and move like off the Lego Movie. Great buy I'd recommend it.

I love the LEGO video games. I've owned and played every one of them more than once. This one is similar to the Lord of the Rings game, but seems a bit more complicated to me--lots of "busy work" to gather all of the collectibles, especially because you need to get so much "loot" to complete the tasks, plus they have these "building" exercises. Also, it's extremely buggy. I can't count how many times the game play has frozen in the middle of me trying to complete a level, and I have to turn off the PS3, lose my progress and then restart the level again. :-/

Purchased this game as a family game for us and our kids, 4 & 8. The 4 year old needs some help but can do a lot on his own. It is a really fun game and we haven't had any glitch in issues so far. I really like that it is longer and has more challenging missions than some lego games

I love the lego games, with all of the hunting and searching, BUT . . . the Hobbit game is following some of the other lego games which means it's full of glitches. Either the game or the character freezes. Yes, you can restart the game to fix it - but after doing this numerous times it can get frustrating and a bit boring. You also can't change into any of the other characters while running around in the worlds UNTIL you finish the whole game first. This annoyance could have been softened if you were able to put in cheat codes to get some of the red bricks - which might enable you to get past some of the glitches. But atlas, the cheat codes only gets you characters (which you don't know what they do until you look them up in the character selection box). Another annoyance is the adding the special weapon and abilities. Each time you switch into another character you have reassign the weapons and abilities all over again. Which probably wouldn't be so terrible if the character or game didn't keep freezing. It could be a great game as the first lego Star Wars game was on PS 2 ( which is STILL great to play). So come on guys! Stop rushing through the development of the game, and lets get a lego game without so many "freezes"! I don't know if the game will allow me to finish it. But for now I'll keep running around collecting coins -- and I'll try the escape from the elves in the barrel again. I already tried 7 times ---- it keeps freezing when the barrels get to the first dock to let up the gate. But hey -- maybe 8 times is a charm! or 10! Please guys, fix the deep freeze glitches!

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my son. He loves the lego games and him and I get to play them together. We normally zip right through the games because they are on the simpler side and I understand they are lego and geared more towards children but this one is harder and we are still not done with it. We have enjoyed this one very much.
