Clean, Simple, and Reliable — Perfect Brake Light Switch for DIY Installations
This Drive-Up 3-Terminal Plunger Micro Switch worked perfectly for my golf cart brake-light setup. The functionality is exactly what I needed. I attached it to the brake lever arm underneath the cart and set it up so the plunger is depressed when the brake is released. The switch allows you to wire it this way without any issues, making the setup extremely flexible. What I love most is how clean the installation looks. This setup avoids those bulky, unattractive switches that mount on top of the brake pedal. Instead, everything stays hidden and tidy. I’ll be attaching photos to my review so others can see how simple and clean the final result is. For installation, I secured the switch using zip ties, and that worked perfectly. In terms of durability, it has been excellent. I’ve been running this switch for a full year now with zero issues, even with the vibration, elements and movement underneath the cart. The plunger action reliable with no issues. Works every time. If you want a neat, OEM-style brake light solution without adding an eyesore to the pedal area, this micro switch is a fantastic choice.
