So if your looking at this and it’s still in the $100-$120 U.S. dollar price range, it’s good at that price point. The leads are pretty stout, the ground clamp and electrode holders are very serviceable, the 110 power cord looks to be about a 10 gauge with a fully molded North America plug on it. So fact is yes, you can weld with it straight out of the box with out Having to assemble, the power leader, the ground clamp and lead, and no need go to the store to get an end for the power cord, and course it comes with the Obligatory one handed face mask, and what passes for a chipping hammer brush combo..Now in full disclosure, I only picked this up because I’m teaching my son the basics of welding, I didn’t want to try and confuse him with also asking him to tackle a complicated multi process Machine with all the various custom settings. This one is as simple as it gets: its on/off , amperage up/ amperage down. If it doesn’t melt the metal there’s only about 3 things wrong. To little amps/ no Continuity-to ground/ or no more rod 😉,

Great for small projects
Great idea and so easy to use portable welder. Working good with full discription how to use it. Enough power even 110 volt. Goid helper for small fast projects

Great for DIY and home projects.
Use this occasionally for misc home projects, originally bought to fix mower frame and was very impressed especially considering cost.
