Easy to install. Fits very well. Does not come off. Very happy with this, makes carrying my leatherman so much nicer.

I only needed the pocket clip, not the lanyard ring but it comes with both. The clip is light weight, small and thin, but strong steel. It fits in securely to the leatherman without any tools or disassembly. Just clips in and out when needed. I like to pocket carry my leatherman and it’s a lot more comfortable to have it clipped in your pocket rather than have it loose. There are other clips out there for less, but this is real leatherman quality. You really get the best value with the name brand in this case.

Works perfectly on the Wave +

I ordered this clip at the same time as I ordered my new Wave, because I plan on using the tool for every day carry. I don't really have need for a quick release lanyard clip, but it's a nice little add on if ever I decide I need one. This clip is good, definitely sturdy and of good steel, makes for deep carry in the pocket while still accessible. My only complaint is that there is about 5 degrees of play in the clip. It is not loose in that it will not come off, but definitely moves when attached to the tool. Given Leatherman's great customer service, I will probably exchange it for another, perhaps the one I got is a dud? But other than that, it is what it is, and I consider it a must have for any Leatherman tool.

I honestly had to return this item. I already have one for my Wave. I bought this for my Surge. Stupid me for not even thinking of trying the one from my Wave first. I really thought this will be perfect for the Surge also. Unfortunately, there’s a huge wiggle left and right and can cause scratches on the tool surface overtime. I had to purchase a third party one that worked perfect for the SURGE.
