Fantastic device!
LOVE this thing! I bought it to play music in the back yard. Actually installed it outside in the wall of our barn. You can get to it easily. It runs 4 speakers pretty well, but if you want great bass, you probably want to add an amp. We can stream to it via Bluetooth or, with the AUX connection, we can play just about any device through it. The sound is GREAT and it is so easy to use. We love it. After years of Bluetooth speakers and old home stereos to power our back yard, THIS is the perfect device. If you are not using it in a Marine environment, you will need to power it. You could use a car battery with a trickle charger on it, or a 30A power supply. I went the power supply route and am VERY happy with it.

Lolve it
Well, I like it, not, you know, Love. It is a good stereo with some nice features. Mine is paired with some JBL speakers mounted on the side of my center console. They sound nice. Now I just pair the Blue thing with my cell and listen to the Blues on my Amazon playlist. Somebody mentioned that it gets hot but I would call it warm as what you are touching is the heat-sink for the amplifier. A watt is a watt is a watt. I don't see it as a problem. Easy to install, easy to use, nice sound, and compact.

the best marine radio I have purchased
Hands down, the best marine radio I have purchased. I used to have to purchase a new Dual, BOSS, and other brand radios every year. I bought this for mt bass boat, because it fit in the dash where my older lowrance depth finder was. First one had to be replaced because it quit pairing for the bluetooth. The company that makes these for JBL is based in the Carolina's and they sent me a Brand new one. The guy said I had an older version of the receiver, so he sent me the latest version, and I have had no issue since. I have been in complete down pours and was soaked from head to toe, but the receiver continues to rock on. Bought another one for my Mastercraft, still working great.

"Overall, this unit is compact, contemporary and easy to operate"
This stereo is perfect for an installation in a previous Tachometer gauge hole on your boat console. There is no need to cut any opening. Quick and easy install and the wiring is straight forward. Others have complained about excessive heat produced from the unit during operation. The unit does produce heat but it's not material to the unit's overall performance. The Bluetooth feature on this unit operates flawlessly. The output rating is 45 watts x 4 and I found it to be a little weak. It's not very loud on Bluetooth and my streaming device's volume is at maximum, while it's adequately louder on AM/FM. I have not used the AUX. I will be adding an external amp. On day 2 of use, the power button was in a position where the unit would not turn on. I had to fiddle with the button to power on. I felt this would be manageable and will not be exchanging the unit.Overall, this unit is compact, contemporary and easy to operate. I would recommend this unit to boat owners who are looking to save space and gain the ability stream music from a Bluetooth device. Attached is an image of the unit installed on my boat console where the Tachometer gauge was previously.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS REVIEW IS ABOUT THE PRODUCT AND NOT THE SUPPLIER. >>> I purchased this product because if would fit into a cutout for an area on the boat where the tach use to be. I thought great idea and I wont have to cut any more holes in my boat. Especially if the unit fails or need replacing. The units looks great. It sounds good hooked up to four Kenwood 150 watt speakers and I don't need an amp. Now I hooked everything up before I did the complete install to make sure everything worked. On my last boat cut holes and installed everything and the system didn't work. Had to send everything and guess what. The next until l was a different size and so where the speakers. That was painful because I had holes in the boat now. Anyway back to this unit. As I was installing other things on my boat, I noticed that the unit was very hot. I thought, this odd, but I do recall hearing about that in another review. So I decided not to install the unit yet and turned it on to different days to see if the unit was really running hot. YES IT RUNS HOT. So I am now concerned that I will not be able to install the unit were I originally plan. The amount of heat might melt my console panel. It looks like if I decide to keep this unit I will have to cut a hole in the fiberclass to mount the unit. Not what I wanted to do. even in an alternate located it still runs hot.

Best radio I found for my boat
This radio is perfect. I got this radio because of its small nature, so it didn't take up much room on my console. It fits perfectly next to my gauges and looks amazing. It is very user-friendly and sounds great.

Working great since 2014
Bought this to replace a similar style very cheap radio and have been extremely happy. Bluetooth works well. Sound is great. I am using 4 6-1/2 inch Kenwood speakers powered by this head and 2 more 6-1/2 speakers powered via an amp through the rca outputs on the head. 19 foot fish/ski. I'm about to add another amp and sub. The unit does get very hot but only on the backside and also around the thin metal ring in front of the supplied mounting gasket and behind the radio face but not a problem so far. Maybe I got lucky but it has been working great.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a boat
This is all you will ever need for a boat stereo. All of my previous stereos rusted within a few years mainly due to the saltwater getting in through the CD hole. Why use CDs anyway? This has all of the plugs you will need plus Bluetooth. I have sprayed it with a direct stream of water plenty of times and it has been in the sun for over a year with no problems. The only slight issue is that the Bluetooth receiver must be in the back of the unit so the effective range is only about 10 feet. I just leave my phone in the cup holder if I am going to the front of the boat, or getting off of the boat. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a boat.
