Great gloves for winter outdoor work
I work for Amazon in a trailer yard on the TOM team, which involves being around trailers, dirt, and grease all day. I also drive the yard trucks, and the reinforced palm section holds up well for 10 hours creating less hand fatigue. The gloves are ideal for winter work in rain and snow after their initial breaking-in period which takes about a week. Also, they clean up nice in the sink after a quick spray with Dawn dish spray on foam. Seriously, is there nothing that Dawn can't clean?Anyway, great gloves.

Tough, Comfortable, and Bright—But That Velcro Is Relentless!
These gloves nail almost everything they promise. The impact protection is stellar and the reflective print really amps up visibility. The padding in the palm manages to absorb vibrations without restricting my hand movement too much, which is fantastic for longer jobs. They’re also surprisingly breathable, keeping my hands cool in hot conditions, but surprisingly have helped keep my hands warm on those cooler days outside (wouldn't call them thermal glove though) Gripping tools feels secure and comfortable, so no complaints there. The only (slightly frustrating) catch is the velcro strap—it's super strong! So strong, in fact, that it can be a chore to unfasten when you’re still wearing the gloves. Overall though, these are solid gloves that give me the protection and comfort I need, with just a minor hiccup in the closure system.

THESE are worth the money!!
I purchased this pair of gloves for the purpose of mountain biking in which I feel they are perfect!I don't know how well they would hold up to heavy wear and tear due to the soft mesh/suede materialand stitching however for my needs, these fit the bill. I'm replacing my older gloves which are extremelythin and hardly provide any protection to speak of for the tips of your fingers (i.e. Ripping your thumb-nail back during a fall doesn't feel so good)I just received them so... I am hoping these will make me proud!PROS:-Snug fit around fingertips allows functionality when you need it-Armotex reinforcement panel seems to offer decentgrip (black, synthetic, abrasive leather patch above palm)-Mesh webbing along sides of fingers and back of hand look to promote efficient air flow-Thermal Plastic Rubber along the fingers and doublelayering at the tips (I feel, will) offer sufficient protection from falls-Padding on the palm is thick enough to protect fromimpacts but breathable enough to keep your hands from overheating-Wrist straps (Velcro) cover your entire wrist offering excellent protection, a snugfit and the strap latches on the underside of your wrist so the strap is less likely to be pulled loose-Glove size standards are roughly: SEE IMAGE BELOWTHIS is what I based MY order off of in terms of what size to get. I ordered a medium. My measurements are 8.5" palm (circumference) and 3.25"-3.50" diameter (at the pads of your palm)P.s. Yes the measurement of the gloves width (when flattened) is 5" as the dimensions state. The fit is snug and there is little play at the fingertips with an open hand.My fingers aren't pressing tightly against the ends in this position however when I make a fist,my fingers snug up to the tips and the grip then feels tight but not to the point of it being uncomfortable. They make me feel that I have complete control and functionality with my hands.CONS:-We shall see...I hope this review helped inform you to make the decision as to whether this pair of gloves is the right pair for you!UPDATE September 16th, 2018I used these a lot when I first purchased them, not so much lately...For what they have been through, they have held up above and beyond my expectations.Wear and tear is what you would expect from a glove. Everything wears out eventually however,I would still recommend them to this day!

great glove, high vis, durable.
I bought these for all non-fire related work on the department, and so far they've worked extremely well. I like the high visibility for late night runs and accidents. They're quite durable and even after a few weeks of wear and tear, they're still very visible at night. I recommend.

Great for downhill mountain bikers
Edit: I originally purchased these gloves in March of 2015, 18 months and well over 500 miles of mountain biking later these things are still going strong! While most of my friends have at least gone through 1 or 2 pairs by now, I'm happy as can be with these! Photos are as of 9/13/2016 and are just barely starting to show some wear but are plenty dirty from the dry Mt. Bachelor dirt!I wear these for riding mountain bikes. They're comfortable and look great. never had a problem with them slipping when the palms get a little muddy or wet. The rubber on the knuckles is really nice when you're bombing through the woods and branches are slapping your hands. Some people prefer something a little more light weight but even on really hot days I've never felt like they didn't breath well enough. I've had these for almost a year of riding and they're holding up really well.

great glove
great glove, i bought them for my dual sport. most of the reviews are true in that they do run big. i wear a 2 xl for most dollar store work gloves but i bought size large in these. they are a C hair too small but will likely be perfect once broken in. very bright. comfy. screen usage is a nice touch although it should have also been put on the middle fingers and not just thumb and index.
