Hunter Douglas Duette Shade 3/4" Cord Lock

This replacement worked great on our honeycomb cellular shades that are probably 18 years old now. I believe the shades were originally from Home Depot or 3-Day Blinds, but I determined that the Hunter Douglas parts work perfectly on them. The metal sheath over the plastic makes all the difference as it should prevent the grooving that I've seen on several of our 6'0x4'0 window shades (oddly, the grooving doesn't seem to affect the 4'0x4'0 shades). I just ordered the second replacement now that I know this cord lock is high quality & operates very smoothly. Much thanks to the seller!

These are completely life changing!!! Remarkable how one small little thing can completely change your marriage, health and overall perspective on life and beyond life. The beauty and simplicity is understandably underrated unnaturally by the cohesive and comprehensive complexity in infamous inclusive indestructibility. This has changed me so much that I am going to the Beach.

Perfect replacement for my blind. Easy to replace. Part is newer design with metal cord guide to prevent wearing so should last longer.

Perfect! Better than original. Had to replace original because plastic rounded edge wore a gouge from the string and then would cut the string. New unit is improved now with metal in that part.

This is a great retrofit part to my 10+ year old Hunter Douglas shade. The part reuses the covering that wraps around end of the top mount. So when removing the old one part, be careful to save that covering. It can be tricky to remove the covering so take your time. I really liked that this piece is reinforced with metal where the strings have worn grooves into the old one. With new strings, a new locking mechanism, and new tassels, my wife loves it even more. Be sure to note whether you need a right hand or left hand version of this part.

This fit perfectly and is reinforced in the spot that wears out so should last much longer than the last one.

Very good product. It is much better than the original. I wish I had known of this part earlier I would have replaced all my cord locks and avoid re-stringing the shades.
