Stops cats from scratching sofa
The tape helps to stop the cats from scratching the sofa, which is good. The tape is definitely visible (despite being transparent), especially after dust/etc has built up on it, but at least it’s not super eye-catching. I also tried putting tape on the kitchen counter to try to deter the cats from jumping up there, but that didn’t really work on my cats.

Great Protection, Even Though I Didn’t End Up Needing It!
I purchased the Petslucent Cat Scratch Deterrent Sticky Paws Tape to protect my suede sofa from potential scratching, and I’m pleased to report that it didn’t damage the fabric at all. The tape is easy to apply, and the blue color is subtle enough not to be too noticeable on furniture.Interestingly, I didn’t end up needing it because my cat never attempted to scratch the sofa after all. However, I’m still glad I had it on hand as a precaution. It’s reassuring to know that if my cat does decide to test the waters in the future, I have a reliable product that won’t harm my furniture.Overall, this tape offers peace of mind and effective protection for anyone worried about their cat scratching their furniture. I’d definitely recommend it!

It actually works!
Mrs bought this as our cats are obsessed with our living room windowsill. Before you judge we do love them but it was creating problems in the sense they were rubbing against the back of the curtains causing their hair to get attached to it. We were getting sick of it taking ages to clean up the hair. Many goes with the hoover to even make a little difference. Plus they kept playing with the netting that's actually attached to the window. We don't have the type of window that's hard to see into like you would in a bathroom. So we got this tape to stop them trying to pull the netting down and creating ways for outsiders to see in when we didn't particularly want anyone to see in. I was rather apprehensive about getting it as well I've never bought anything to try and discourage animals not to go into, onto areas that they shouldn't or where owners would prefer they did not go near. But seen as it was already ordered and arrived before I even have chance to properly think about it we decided to give it a go. To my surprise it works. The Mrs explained the basics of how it should work. I just didn't think that would apply to our cats. As their alittle bit odd so I genuinely thought knowing our luck they wouldn't mind the tape. But nope they hate it and since putting it down on the windowsill in the living room no further problems. Of course the cats still try and enter the windowsill but quickly leave once they realise the tape is still there. Yes I understand how the tape can be annoying under their paws but it's not doing them any harm. I keep checking to be on the safe side. It doesn't seem to cause any irritation or anything and the cats aren't in any pain afterwards. So a method that stops them from doing something we don't want them to do without causing pain is a big win in my book. Highly recommend this product. The stickiness seems to be holding pretty well. Had this most recent lot up for well its the second day. No sign of it decreasing and loosing its stick. First lot the Mrs got abit concerned about how long we could leave it before we needed to change it. So think we ended up removing it and putting more down too soon. This time round I'm making sure we can accurately test how long the stick holds for. Provided I can edit this review I will be back with an update.**EDIT - 03/03/22**Finally remembered to and had time to update lol. This product worked for a decent amount of time. However, now we are left with adhesive residue on the windowsill which we have had trouble removing after we took the tape off the windowsill to replace it. We then decided to not put more on and just concentrate on trying to remove the adhesive residue. The removal of it is an ongoing process. Unsure if this is as a result of the type of product it is or if we left the tape on there for too long. We left it on there longer than our first attempt to see how long the stickiness would last. While the timescale may have seemed reasonable to us. In regards to the product Itself it may have been just a little bit too long. In which case that would be on us.The relevance of this update is purely so people know that it can leave adhesive residue. Whether that be what the product does when used properly or what could happen if someone like us who is inexperienced with using said product uses it for too long. The fact remains it can happen by the looks of it. So I would advise to keep that in mind when purchasing. Also in regards to how long it worked keeping our cats off the windowsill. Unfortunately it didn't work as long as we would have liked. Though I think that may be more to do with our cats than the product itself. It seems at some point in time they just didn't seem bothered by it after a while. Which actually makes sense as our cats are unusual like that. Lots of things don't bother them the way they would other cats. Either straight away or after a decent amount of time. Sometimes it seems like they build up an immunity in a sense to whether or not something bothers them anymore. Sort of like when people end up not tolerating someone else's nonsense.Again mentioning this so people can keep it in mind when purchasing. As should you have cats like ours who stop being bothered by the product after a while. It'll probably be a good idea to know that it might be a possibility that it won't have the desired outcome beforehand. For the time it did work for us and our cats. It was a godsend. Now we are over trying to keep them off the windowsill. As annoying as it is for us. It seems nothing will stop them from jumping up on there.

Well, it works!
I didn't realise that this was going to be literally double-sided sticky tape.It works well on the corners of our leather bed, but I keep getting stuck to it..lol

Very sticky double sided tape
My error, I thought this was only sticky on one side. It’ll be too sticky for my long haired cats but will make good double sided tape!

Terrible don’t buy! Comes straight off!
I purchased this product to prevent my cat from scratching the carpet on my staircase risers. No idea if worked because within one day it had come off because both side of the tape are sticky so as soon as I walked down the stairs it stuck to my heals and pulled off the carpet. Also the fact it’s sticky on the outside means all the flush from the carpet sticks to meaning it looks terrible.

Perfects for persistent scratchers
We use this product on door thresholds when we are away for any extended period, as our cat has the habit of scratching the carpet when the door is closed. The tape goes down easily and isn't too obvious once in place. If you inadvertently attach yourself, it is strong enough to stay in place while you peel yourself off. In that sense, it also means the cat won't shred the tape easily and it is certainly scratch resistant to the point where the cat now does even attempt to scratch the areas where the table is in position. The roll is a good length too, allowing for multiple door thresholds to be covered and leaving at least enough on the roll for another visit away or two.

I'm not very impressed
Really it's just a double sided sticky tape that you put on furniture in hopes to prevent a cat from scratching and clicking it's claws. Well, in my household it was a complete disaster. Not only were my cats inquisitive about this new fangled thing, my long haired cat managed to attach itself onto it and pulled out lots of his fur, unharmed, making the tape useless and needing to be replaced. That was just within hour of it being on. I replaced it the next day, and low and behold ig happened again. A sticky cat again. My other cat, I have 4, liked to keep pressing his paw on it and removing it. It became a game to him. My other 2 cats, one was not interested in it at all, while my female cat just kept laughing at the other 2.It's safe to say that this tape does not work for us, it's useless, not impressive and a complete pain.
